I recently ran into some strange problems. Changes to files that are not code-behind (and not gets compiled to a DLL) should not require you to recompile the whole website, and this has never been I problem for me. These should actually get compiled dynamically when you first access the resource, e.g. the first time when browsing an updated aspx-page in the browser.
I tried with minor changes on files in another web application project on the same server, and there it works as it should. Something must has happened to this particular application, but I cannot figure out what.Do you have any ideas on how to solve this?
Hello how can i created dynamic links for each generated files on the server when using streamwriter to allow the user after generating to download the file but from the server
This is my scenario : i have grid with filtration the user click on the button to generate multiple excel sheet...
these generated file will be saved on the server in first step ..
in the second step user must be able to download what he already generated ( 3 excel sheets for eg)
I am having problem in the second step..
here is my code i am using for the first step saving the file on the server
Using sw As StreamWriter = New StreamWriter(Server.MapPath("~/Output/" & weeknumber & ".xls")) ' Server.MapPath("~/Output/" Using hw As HtmlTextWriter = New HtmlTextWriter(sw) gvToExcelSheet.RenderControl(hw) &nb
I need some advice on
what to use for adding multiple attachment to a email. I'm using VB 2010.
First, I have a Form
in my company web site to fill a reclamation ..... when you fill and send it,
it convert the form into a PDF, save it in the client side "TEMP" and
finally get the PDF and send it to a email..... that's perfectly fine. I add to the form the capability of
attach multiple files with file upload to the same "TEMP" and
displayed in a Grid View to remove or add files and send everything to a email, the attachment capability is working. Everything is working with the PDF not the
There is a way to get
the multiple files from the "TEMP" folder and add it to some dynamically
variable (array list, attachment collection, list collection, etc.) so all can
be send to the email. I already know the way to put it into the email with the
PDF. The problem is to get the files and add it to the dynamic variable and
that it work with the email.
If the code is need
it, let me know.
I am trying to do what many have already tried. I wish SSIS was made more user friendly in this perspective, but I am trying to have SSIS read a folder directory, and get all the files based on a condition that I've specified.
I was following this link: http://consultingblogs.emc.com/jamiethomson/archive/2005/05/30/SSIS_3A00_-Enumerating-files-in-a-Foreach-loop.aspx
So I have a For-Each loop, and within it, I have my Data Flow Task which includes a Flat File Source Connection. The problem is, how do I pass that information to the connection string? I can see the connection string in the XML file, but for
some reason, I cannot access the property "ConnectionString". The first property I see when I go to the expressions editor is "DelayValidation." Furthermore, I've seen documents online where it there is a "connectionString"
property for the Flat File Source Connection. Well, I see no such property.
Any help with specific steps would be greatly appreciated. Also, once I've figured that part out, I need to be able to move the files to another location after they have been put in the SQL Server DB. This was much easier in coding a vb.net application.
I want to import multiple excel 2007 files into Sql Server Database using SSIS 2005.
Can someone explain me the steps as i am new to SSIS.
I am a new to SSIS but not new to SQL server. I have been used to programming stored procedures and such to get data in to SQL. I need to daily import processes of excel files. However, the name of the excel files change every day.
Is there anyway to dynamically handle this?
