for some reason this statement:
“Default MDX Visual Mode=0;”
is ignored when I create ADODB.Connection. My Provider is MSOLAP.4. I am using owc11
Any ideas? Thanks.

I am using Visual Studio 2010. I was debugging a web application and an exception happened and VS 2010 froze. I ended the VS 2010 in the task manager and when I went back to developing, I found on every form for every ASP.net control I get:
Error Creating Control -
Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.
Also I am unable to edit the form or add anything from the toolbox.
Any help on this matter will be appreciated.
I could never figure it out - set <customErrors mode="Off" /> in all web.config files that exist under Interpub/wwwroot, but still get default error page. Which web.config does SharePoint use?
I have a wpf project. I created my form mostly visually. A have created a menu by dropping the Menu control on the form. Now I have to specify the menu content such as File / submenus. In the xaml I hve added MenuItems under the Menu section. It works
great. However is there a way to edit visually the whole menu? In the designer view I just saw the main menubar and the toplevel menu items and can not edit the main menu and its submenu.
I am developing asp.net 2.0 using c# and when I place a break point on a line of code and hit f5 or "start debugging" it just brings up the website without stopping at the breakpoint.
It is set for debug not release and I don't know what else to do? Does anyone have any suggestions?
After I imported a VS 2008 web project to VS 2010, I can't view aspx pages that have master pages in design mode. The page design mode displays "error creating control - contentplacehoder1 object reference not set to an instance of an object." The project builds and runs fine though. I have only one master page that all other aspx pages reference and I don't have any nested master pages. Can anybody help me with this? Thanks in advance.
I see that you can select format from the menu bar, and set position > absolute, for each individual control, can I make set position to be deafult to absolute in Visual Studio 2008
any opportunity to change it in Visual Studio - not in IIS?
