As of 9-17 2010 our users have been having issues with two .NET Windows applications since getting the Windows Update. After the IT dept did about a day and a half of researching we figured out it was the video cards with acceleration that was causing
the issue. Windows would totally freeze when launching any .NET 2.0 applications. After researching and coming to the conclusion that setting the acceleration on the 3rd bar, or about 1/4 way to full acceleration the applications would finally launch. However
there are still some areas of the applications that still freeze windows. One of the applications was developed by our development department and another is a third party application we use internally. I have researched online for some others with issues like
this and I am not sure what the next step should be. Any help is appreciated.
