I have an excel folder that is used by several people. Each has the ability to edit and save changes to track training classes they have attended. Each person's name in column a is a hyperlink to a sharepoint folder to which is only accessible
by the individual and their managers. When a user checks out the document, they are asked if they want to open the file as a local draft. If they select yes, when the document is saved back to sharepoint the hyperlinks have changed to the local
copy of the user's workstation. This prevents users from accessing their folders.
Can I turn off the ability to save to a local copy? How can I prevent the hyperlinks from changing?
