Hello all. Alerts are not being triggered when renaming a file in Explorer view. They work when a new file is created.
Is this expected behaviour or is there a fix.
We are using SP 2007

Has anyone been able to receive alerts after renaming files in Explorer view? I don’t know if it is an known issue or not.
Has anyone else experience this issue:
Office 2010 is installed on a machine with IE7 running on it.
Explorer view within Sharepoint 2007 and IE7 works fine
Office 2010 requires a product key change from a temporary key from the initial install to a permenant key.
The permenant key is installed and suddenly Explorer view within Shrepoint stops working?
I'm using wss3 on Windows 7 64bit and when I try to access a document/form library in explorer view, I get a blank page with an "error on page" on the status bar. When I dbl click the error, I get:

I am able to view sharepoint explorer view in IE 8 and IE 7 on windows XP, but wherin in Windows 7 with IE 8 Browser the Sharepoint Explorere View is not working, When i click on Explorer View it takes some time and then wont display anything, can anybody
got the solution on these please Help!!
Windows 7 SP1 with Webclient (webdav), Office 2010 Professional Plus, connects to a Sharepoint 2010 Document Library, using Explorer View, mapped to a disc drive letter. Document library has check out requirement turned off.
Customers work only in Windows Explorer with Webclient, they dont want to use web interface to Sharepoint.
Information to recreate the problem:
CASE1) Let's say a new docx document is created in Explorer View (in Explorer by right-click-new Word document). Customer waits couple of minutes, enters and changes the document in Explorer View, and then saves it and closes Word. Result:
Column "Date Modified" in Explorer view is unchanged, when it should have been changed. (!)
CASE2) Let's say I created new docx document in Web View (all documents view). Customer waits couple of minutes, enters the same document IN EXPLORER VIEW, changes it and then saves it and closes Word. Result: Column "Date Modified" in Explorer view
is CHANGED to the new save time so now it works!
Why is this happening and is there any fix for this. Is this problem of WebDAV or of Sharepoint? It happends with .docx and .xlsx files, and not with .txt files and some othes which work correct when created in Explorer View.
Also when I copy/paste to Explorer View , column Date
When try to open a folder in a moss 2007 document library in Explorer View, the folder does not open.
I am using IE7 and the path of the folder does not contains more than 100 characters.
Also it opening on few on the machines which has IE7.
