I have a work flow running on a list, when a task is Rejected at a stage then the Workflow status is set to "Completed". Instead of this I want the Status to remain as "In Progress", so that in future after the modification of the document the Approver may
Approve it and then take it to the next stages. This is not possible if the Workflow is set to "Completed".
Can you please suggest an easy way to do this
Thanks in Advance
Hey, I'm the first time using VS2010 deployment tool.
I selected FTP publish, and all the configurations are correct.
I'm just confused that after I clicked publish, there is no window or text shows the status of the uploading progress. When would it be finished? It's taking so long, and in the meantime I can't do anything.
I'm running into a problem with visual studio workflows I'm using in my solution. It appears that some workflows randomly don't finish while the same workflow finishes just fine for an other listitem. So I got a small test envoirment which creates 30 listitems
and starts the same workflow (with 1 task inside) for all those items. After that I got some custom code which alters every task to be finished. So when the problem appears the task inside the workflow is finished, but the workflow itself remains "In
Only 3 - 5 out of 30 workflows usually remain "In progress" and sometimes every workflow is finished, so I'm wondering what the cause could be here? Sometimes a single workflow also remains "In progress" so the heavy load due to many
workflows being finished at the same time can't be the reason in my opinion.
we're using 2005 ent merge replication with very large database size with binary images (60 GB). However the replication creation process spend very long time to finish and we want to see the merge job progress. Is there any way(e.g. view system table) to
see the progress or error when creating replication (merge job progress status)?
Thanks and regards,

The progress bar is great for keeping users informed about the progress of a task. Unfortunately, there's no progress bar element built into ASP.NET, so Dino Esposito solves that problem with his ProgressPanel control.

In many situations, accurately estimating the length of a certain process (copying a large file, loading data from a server, retrieving files from the Internet) would be both difficult and inefficient.

How would an English speaker feel if his car's owner's manual was written in German or if the dash board markings were written in Japanese because the car was manufactured in that country? This is an experience common to computer users all over the world who don't speak English as their primary language, and it's becomming more important. The Microsoft .NET Framework not only makes it possible to build international applications, but many of the tools such as Visual Studio .NET make it quite easy. This article looks at internationalization with .NET and presents real tools you can use to make all of your Windows Forms applications global-ready.
