When it comes to catching programming errors, the debugger is a developer's best friend. ASP. NET tracing, however, is a nice complement to the debugger and shouldn't be overlooked. It enables your ASP.

cspParams.Flags = CspPro
Hello,I need to implement SAML 2.0 integration for ASP.NET application to be used as service provider. I tried to find a component for this but found only ComponentSource ComponentSource SAML 2.0 Integration Toolkit. I cannot believe that this is the only component that I can use for my task. Are there any other components or .NET libraries I can use to build SAML 2.0 integration for ASP.NET application ? Maybe there are standard way in .NET to implement this ? Currently .NET version used is 2.0 but there is no problem to migrate to 3.0 or 3.5 if this will help to solve the problem. Thank you!I'm sorry if I'm asking in a wrong forum but I did not find a security related forum.Best regards,Sergey
I was trying to open the views of the document library in the sharepoint designer.I am getting error with dialog box:
the server could not complete the request.Contact your internet service provider or web server administrator to make sure that the server has frontpage server extension or sharepoint services installed.
it is asking for more information click on details button.when i click that button.
the it is showing like:
soap:ServerServer was unable to process request. ---> The given key was not present in the dictionary.
Appreciate your help.
I click on "Search settings" in SSP then the following error: "The search service is currently offline. Visit the Services on Server page in SharePoint Central Administration to verify whether
the service is enabled. This might also be because an indexer move is in progress.
My SSP work fine last time, but for now it fails in "Search settings". I checked very carefully.
Office Sharepoint Server Service (OSSS) is started, "Index Server Default File Location" in OSSS is D:\MOSS_index.
"Path for index file location" of SSP is D:\MOSS_index with full right permission is ok and shared. But i checked folder D:\MOSS_index and folder D:\MOSS_index is
empty, guid folder in D:\MOSS_index was lost.
I checked "Search Administration" in SSP and found that "Items in index" is 0 and "Crawl status" is error, "Default content access account" is error.
This question pertains to editing "Profile Services Policies" after creation. Can it be done programmatically?
When I open Central Admin and click my SSP I navigate to [User Profiles and My Sites]-->[Profile services policies].
On the Profile services policies page I have a list of profile properties to choose.
I want to edit one of the properties but I see this message: The name will be used programmatically for the property by the user profile service, while the display name is the label used when the property is shown. After the property is created the
only property setting you can change is the display name.
All I want to do is change the property to "Allow Multiple Values" but since I can't do this through central admin I want to know if I can do it programmatically (ie.. edit an xml file or something along that line)..
Thanks for any help!

I'm creating a Dynamic Data application in VS2010 and have recently
switched to using a Domain Service to give greater control over the
data presented to the client. I've noticed that the
AutoGenerate<Action>Button attributes on my GridView are being
ignored. The presence of the Edit and Delete buttons appear to be
contingent on the existence of Update and Delete methods on the partial
classes autogenerated in the Domain Service, but i'm not seeing how to
control the generation of the Select button. Is there a way to control this from
within the Domain Service class?
Hello. I've bee successfully using the Asp.Net Membership Provider in my VB.Net 3.5/SQL 2005 web app for a year now (Site A). However, I've added 2 new sites (B and C) (both with their own DB) and now I see a problem. It looks like users that get created for sites B and C also get created in site A. Roles that I create for B and C only get created in A. I think it is a conn string problem.
When I created A, I adde the conn string to my machine.config (not sure why I did this or if it is even needed)...
<connectionStrings> <add name="LocalSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=VS689\SQLEXPRESS;Initial Catalog=SiteA;USER ID=sa;PASSWORD=123456"/></connectionStrings>
In my WEB.CONFIG
<membership> <providers> <clear/> <add name="AspNetSqlMembershipProvider" type="System.Web.Security.SqlMembershipProvider, System.Web, Version=22.214.171.124, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=blahblah" connectionStringName="LocalSqlS
Which is the best sql provider on .NET Framework : DataSet, LINQ, ADO.NET Entity Framework?
