I have a sharepoint list with 2 columns (employee name and employee phone #). Is there any way to have a drop down list with the employee name and then right next to it have a text box show the employee telephone number? i.e. if I choose my name
from the drop down list, my phone number will show up right next to my name. Thanks!
I am using Sharepoint List dataconnection to retrive the drop down in Infopath form & configured several rules to retirve data for other fields based on Id value selected in drop down.
when i modify the list view to display items in alphabetical order, Then i can see the infopath preview mode to display drop down in alphabetical order. But when i deploy as administrator approved XSN in Sharepoint, it doesnt show the alphabetical order
which was shown in the preview mode.
How to achieve the alphbetical order in browser enabled forms were it works in preview mode but not when we deploy in sharepoint ?
I created several forms (Create/Edit/View) for a SharePoint list, using Custom List Forms. I'm using Content Types in the list to ensure that each item only has the necessary fields. When I created the ASPX forms, and inserted the Custom
List Forms, I selected the correct Content Type, and I got the right fields inserted in the form.
Now, for some reason I can't identify, every time I create a new form, and insert a Custom List Form, SPD is bringing ALL fields from the list, instead of just bringing the fields included in the selected Content Type.
I have tried many different things to solve the problem, including creating new lists/content types/forms, etc. but SPD is doing the same thing all the time.
Can somebody tell me what may have gone wrong in SPD or MOSS?
I am trying to create an infopath form for requesting time off. Once the request is approved I want the form to add the event to a calendar on sharepoint. I was able to do this using the article by S.Y.M. Wong-A-Ton at
http://www.bizsupportonline.net/infopath2007/programmatically-add-item-sharepoint-calendar-infopath.htm. But I want the form to also add an item to a custom list that has the employees available time off stored on it. That way the form
automatically subtract the time entered on the infopath form from what is available on the custom list. I was able to do this using another article by

I can make both of these functions happen seperately but I need them to happen on the same Infopath form. I am using Infopath and MOSS 2007. I have tried to use 2 CAML receive data files and I treid to co
