Timout Expired

I just can't seem to get this error from stopping.  It is a data search page with results in gridview format.  I have searched and tried everything I found and still come up with this error.  I am not sure about how to set the commandtimeout property.

Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.AspNetSessionExpiredException: ASP.NET session has expired

**A)** I have an asp.net page with a reportViewer control hosting a report in remote processing Mode. Whenever i would tried to export the report to excel or pdf, i could get the error      Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.AspNetSessionExpiredException: ASP.NET session has expired I then came across this http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms178586.aspx and decided to resolve the problem by going with **SQL Server Mode** sessionState( http://www.nimbleuser.com/blogs/Knowledge_Base/knowledge_base/Installing/Configuring_the_Session_State_Database_for_Multi-Core_Web_Servers.aspx ) and the export problem was resolved. **B)** Now, i also have a completely different Windows Forms application deployed by ClickOnce deployment(.NET 3.5 SP1).  **In this windows application, i have a form with a WebBrowser control whose URL is the asp.net page mentioned in A above.**  Unfortunately, when the reportViewer asp.net page is displayed in the WebBrowser control which is on the windows form and i click the Export button, i get the error as in A above(`Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.AspNetSessionExpiredException: ASP.NET session has expired` ). When i added the below code to the web.config file of the asp.net application, the problem was resolved     <sessionState mode="SQLServer" sqlConnectionString="server=myServer;UID=User1;P

Cannot connect to config db - credentials expired?

Cannot open SP2010 central admin or site collections. Error is "cannot connect to the configuration database". Warning in SP log reads: "The credentials used for the account ***\***** expired on 8/25/2010 4:18:55 PM, and need to be updated. If they are not updated, the system may stop working. The account is used by the following: Farm Account" and "To mitigate this issue, please visit the managed account administration page to schedule automatic password updates" However, the domain account referenced and its password are set to never expire and, of course, I now cannot access the managed account admin page. I was able to logon to the SP server using the farm account credentials so I know neither the account or its password are expired. Any thoughts?

When a Task Expired step in a Start Custom Task Process action is not fired?!

When a Task Expired step is not fired?! I created a simple Workflow using the SharePoint Designer. Added one step to which I added the Start Custom Task Process and set the Due Date "2 minutes after now". For the When a task Expired step of the custom Task I added a Log to History List action, which doesn't seems to be fired. What good be wrong??? All the steps I did to create the workflow: Started SP Designer 2010 and created a reusalbe WF. Added Start Custom Task Process action to step 1. Changed the behavior of the When a task Expired stepof the custom task (added a Log to History List action). Changed the behavior of the Before Task is Assigned by adding a Set Field action which set the Due Date of the task to "Now + 2 minutes". Published the WF and started the WF for a simple list item. Unfortunately the Log to History List actionof the When a task Expired step is never called.

Unable to load External list in Sharepoint Foundation - error due to trial period expired

I've created an external content type and external list on Sharepoint Foundation. Everything is OK when creating and viewing these items in create mode in sharepoint designer. When trying to view the external list in the browser I get error message "Unable to display this Web Part..." When I opened the same list in the mobile view url I get a more descriptive error message: "The shim execution failed unexpectedly - The trial period for this product has expired.." I have read and followed the instruction related to this thread concerning expired trial period bug, and iisreseted the server after change but I still can't display the list. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepoint2010setup/thread/644ab342-4eaa-468c-95c1-f345a4f65f26#644ab342-4eaa-468c-95c1-f345a4f65f26 Any ideas anyone??

Error - The evaluation period for this version of SharePoint Portal Server has Expired

I am using SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and in the app log I'm seeing this error "The evaluation period for this version of SharePoint Portal Server has Expired" which I believe is causing the search service to not work and I can no longer sign in to the SP central admin console. While I did not perform the install myself it has been running for over a year and according to MS the SP PS 2003 eval was only 120 days so I assume the full version was installed.  Any idea's? There are a couple more errors in the event log but I assume they are symptoms and not causes.
