VS 2008 and .NET 3.5 are installed and work fine.
I performed the following steps:
1.ÃÂ ÃÂ ÃÂ Downloaded SQLFULL_X64_ENU.EXE from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/bb851668.aspx
2.ÃÂ ÃÂ ÃÂ Unpacked;
3.ÃÂ ÃÂ ÃÂ run setup.exe as admin
4.ÃÂ ÃÂ ÃÂ on SQL Server Installation Center: Installation | click "New SQL Server stand-alone"
5.ÃÂ ÃÂ ÃÂ I didn't change the installation folder (grayed anyway)
6.ÃÂ ÃÂ ÃÂ Followed the instructions. I selected Database Engine Services
I get the error message "The INSTANCESHAREDWOWDIR command line value is not valid".
I then tried to install with command prompt, with identical results:

I also tried to use setup100 (including the parameter /Timestamp) but I get the error message "the timestamp must be set before its first use".
