i am trying to download all the documents uploadded on my company's sharepoint to a different place(another livedrive)

And i am having a trouble finding how to download all the documents at once (if possible zip all the files), i know how to download one at a time but this would simply make it impossible and forever for me to download thousands of files.

if you know the solution to this, please reply! Thank you!

Issues accessing saved documents in SharePoint

Hello, I believe there is an issue with a current document link in SharePoint.  When we click on the main Document Folder (labelled - Project Descriptions) we are typically provided access to a large list of subfolders and documents.  For some reason now, when we click on the main Document folder, a dialogue box opens up prompting me with the following language:

Do you want to open or save this file?

  • Name: Allitems.zip
  • Type: Compressed (zipped) Folder, 6.13KB
  • From: sharepoint.ambit-consulting.com

If you click "open", you're redirected to a blank page in SharePoint.  Our documents are no where to be found.  Please help.

How to email documents from Sharepoint (WSS3.0)

Hi there,   I am very new to sharepoint so if this is a common / obvious question, please forgive me.   I have just set-up our company's internal website using sharepoint. Thankfully everyone loves it and we are getting great results from it.   I am however having the following problem:   I have created a document library that contains PDF versions of our company's catalogue. The idea was that staff members could access the catalogue, as well as send the PDF's to customers via email.   I was hoping that there was a way I could add the functionality to send these PDF's as opposed to sending a link (that the external customers cannot open). I realise that we could simply open the document and then email it from within the PDF reader, however I was hoping that there would be a more elegant solution.   Any help would be much appreciated.   Thanking you in anticipation.   Regards,   Warren
