'System.OutOfMemoryException' SQL Server 2005

Looking for a solution to SQL Server 2005 'System.OutOfMemoryException' error, or at least the root cause of this error.   Following please find:1) Description of problem2) Exact error message3) Query that fails (against large 'SourceTable', but works against smaller subsets of 'SourceTable' )4) Query that works (above, split apart) on any size table5) Machine and SQL configuration and versions DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM-------------------------------------------------------I am getting a 'System.OutOfMemoryException' error running a simple query on a large table in SQL SERVER 2005. If I run with a fresh boot, only me on the server, and only SQL Server Management Studio open with 1 query window, I'll get this error when I run it against my full-sized SourceTable.  Task Manager indicates there is still more than 7 Gig of physical memory available! System.OutOfMemoryException while fetching 100000 records over WCF 10 times

Hi, I am testing bulk data transfer over WCF service and my scenario is as follows. WCF service contains method GetData which fetch data from DB(100000 records), fills datatable, converts this datatable to array of string and returns this array of string This service is hosted in the windows app programmatically (No config file) AT the client side, proxy object is created using channelfactory In a button click event, simply call to GetData method and holds it into string array, then covert this array back to datatable and assign this datatable to grid. I have written custom class to convert datatable to string array and vice versa which will be available on both sides. Now when I click button to execute this operation, then 9 times it works perfectly fine but on the 10th click it gives System.OutOfMemoryException in custom class method which coverts array to datatable and each time error is on different line. I am unable to find solution for it. I have tried setting all used objects to nothing wherever possible but the error still persists. Can anyone help me on this. Regards, PrabiI can be still better.

Return true or false from Popup window to Parent window

Hello everybody.

I am trying to return true or false from popup window to the parent window.

Actually the parent window has a button control, which on click popup another window. The popup window holds some emailing data and a button "send". This "send" button onclick send email. Now I want to return true if the email is successfully sent otherwise false, to the parent window. Depending on returning value a label present on parent window displays a text message.

But I am not able to implement it. Because it might happen that the popup window is blocked by web-browsers popup blocker or popup window is accidentally closed by user. So how can I confirm to parent window whether or not the email is successfully sent?

Please help me.

Thank you.

Crawl Error - Error in the Site Data Web Service. (Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException'

I have a Sharepoint site that includes a WIki library.  Recently searches have stopped returning any hits from the Wiki pages.  (Search hits from documents and discussions are correctly returned.)  When I check the crawl log from Shared Services Admin site, I see the following error every time a crawl is performed:

I've been getting this error, randomly when previewing two reports.

It does not seem to be based on report complexity, size, subreports etc. When
reports are deployed to server, they all run fine. I just get the out of memory error locally.

1. I have one version with 2 datasets, and a number of matrix, table and list data regions.
2. I have a second version with only one table data region.
3. There is no custom code, variables, prompts or generally anything other than basic
formatting in the report.
4. Both reports are based on the same SQL table.

I can seem to run the two reports (both based on same SQL table) a few times, and
then they start giving the out of memory error.

I can open other other reports and they preview fine locally.

What I've tried so far to no avail:

1. Deleted the downloaded data before refreshing the two reports.
2. Tried building the two reports before running.
3. Tried changing the process priority to high for devenv.exe.
4. Removed filters in the reports.
5. Changed the physical order of the underlying table.
6. Closed the reports and then re-opened them.
7. Close Visual Studio and Re-Open. This seems to work for a while and then the two
reports start giving the error messages again.
8. Cop
