I've seen a number of posts on this topic but still no answer. I'm using SSRS 2008 version 10.0.2531.0.
In my report, I have margins of .25" setup all around. This was set by going into Report Properties --> Page Setup. When exporting my report to Excel, I get margins of 1" for the top and bottom and .75" for left and right.
Page width is 11" and the report body is 10" wide.
It doesn't seem like it matters what I set the margins to. No matter what, I always get margins of 1" top and bottom and .75" left and right.
These reports were originally developed in SSRS 2005 and the margin values exported to Excel correctly as expected. After migrating to SSRS 2008, the margins no longer seem to take.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?
