Unable to add reference to Class Library from a Workflow Console Application (VS 10 beta 2)

I got a really strange problem. I am using the beta 2 version of Visual Studio 10.

I have a Class Library, Activity Library and a Workflow Console Application. From the Workflow Console Application I want to make a reference to the Class Library (I've made some BusinessEntities there..), but I get the following error: 'The type or namespace name '<namespace name>' does not exist in the namespace blabla..

I made the reference, added it by typing using etcetera, but still getting error, also get an error where I import the reference (in the using part)

Can anyone help me out with this ? Is this a bug in Visual Studio 10 beta 2, or am I doing something wrong ?

The type 'System.Data.Linq.DataContext' is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. You must

This is frustrating, and I don't know how to solve it.

I have a strange problem. I am adding a LinqDatasource object, and set the context:

        protected void LinqDataSource_ContextCreating(object sender, LinqDataSourceContextEventArgs e)
            e.ObjectInstance = new KaruselaDataContext(ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["ConnectionString"].ConnectionString);

Then I get this error:
The type 'System.Data.Linq.DataContext' is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. You must add a reference to assembly 'System.Data.Linq, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'.

On web.config I already have this:
<add assembly="System.Data.Linq, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089"/>

NOTE: The datacontext is in a different project (DLL proect) where I added a refernce to System.Data.Linq.

is there another way adding a refernce to a web project? or only though teh web.config?

Data Truncation issue with Enterprise Library Logging WriteLog stored Proc

Hi ,

I'm using Enterprise Library Logging  feature for logging. The issue i am facing is when the Logging message is too large(more than 65534 chars) ,complete data  is not logged in the Formatted Mesage column which is  of data Type nText .

I am able insert complete data if i try inserting from Sql insert Query from sql management studio. Do i need to add any attributes to data base listener or do i need to change the sp.

 Is there any way to increase the WriteLog stored proc param size in EnterpriseLibrary.Logging config file ? . Please let me know.

Thanks In Advance.

Data Points: The Enterprise Library Data Access Application Block, Part 3

E nterprise applications can have a wide variety of data update requirements. Sometimes you need to save multiple rows of changes at once within a single transaction. Other times, the user must be allowed to enter multiple rows of data, send them to the database in a batch; and if a row or two fails, only the rows that succeeded should be committed and remain committed.

A solid data access later (DAL) can benefit an application by hiding redundant tasks, helping handle exceptions more gracefully, helping clean up resources more efficiently, and providing a layer of abstraction from the database.

Exchange 2000 WSS: Web Storage System Improves Exchange Data Accessibility

The Web Storage System (WSS) in Exchange 2000 is a Web-accessible database that stores any type of data such as e-mail, contacts, appointments, threaded discussions, and multimedia files, and renders the data in HTML in any browser. WSS is based on Internet standards, therefore data can be accessed through URLs, an Exchange OLE DB provider, drive mapping, XML, and Web Documenting and Versioning (WebDAV). This article discusses the WSS schema and how to extend the default schema for custom data. A sample application that uses a custom schema and a custom form to display WSS data is available for download.

Unable to open pdf from document library MOSS 2007

When I click on a pdf document uploaded in a document library it comes up with a blank page.

I guess it's trying to open pdf on the browser. I turned off "Display PDF in browser " option in Adobe Preferences, but it doesn't help, same issue.

I tried other browsers too, it's the same issue.

I am able to open all other pdf files local to my machine fine.

I am using IE 8 on my machine (Windows 7) and the Sharepoint server is MOSS 2007.
