Playing multiple videos

I want to play eight videos simultaneously in a window, and i'm using eight MediaElement to do that. It's fine until seven videos, the 8th seems not to load at all (it's quite random, the first seven ones are displayed and the last one does nothing). It seems also that it's a software limitation because when I run multiple instances of my application, all of them display seven videos.

So, how can I get my last video working ?

Thank you

Playing with Linq grouping: GroupByMany?

One of its features is grouping. Many people understand grouping like it is defined in Sql. Linq is implementing grouping quite the same way. Let's discover this syntax and how to make consecutive groups easier.

Free Series of SharePoint Workflow How-to Videos

This is the series of "How to" Document Workflow with SharePoint using Visual Studio 2008 (using the .NET Framework 3.0 for backward compatibility to Visual Studio 2005). I have created video's that show the most common requests that I have seen around MOSS/SharePoint 2007 workflow & document workflow.

Embeb a variable number of videos

I need to provide some alternate content for my non-Flash users.

I have a directory of video files that is scanned using the DirectoryInfo() function, and I want to use the results to embed all files ending in ".mov" in QuickTime players on a web form.

How would you approach this? Right now I am using the count on the array of videos to determine how many times to repeat the embed code.  But this seems inelegant.

Is there a way to have a single QuickTime player.ascx control that gets duplicated according to the number of videos available for display?

Import Panasonic TM700 1080 60p Videos to Kdenlive on Mac

Import Panasonic TM700 1080 60p Videos to Kdenlive on Mac KDENLIVE is the free and open source video editor for Mac OS X, and there is related version for GNU/Linux. The non-linear editor does not only include video and audio effects, but also can export videos to DVD with chapters and simple menu. However, it does not import/recognize the 1080/60p .mts directly from Panasonic HDC-TM700. The 1080/60p 28Mbps .mts shot by TM700 camcorder is not AVCHD standard compliant, which makes it difficult for Mac users. Kdenlive edits all the formats supported by FFmpeg like QuickTime, AVI, WMV, MPEG, and Flash Video, but not the AVCHD videos, especially those from TM700. Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac is the recommend third party Mac Panasonic TM700 AVCHD converter, which supports TM700 1080/60p and 1080/50p videos, and converts the MTS files to HD videos like MOV, MP4, AVI, MPG, maintaining the 5.1-channel surround sound. Here is the simple step-by-step guide for you to convert Panasonic TM700 1080/60p and 1080/50p 28Mbps MTS videos to Kdenlive supported formats like MOV, AVI, and MPEG on Mac. Step 1. Load Panasonic HD videos to Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac. Transfer .mts files from Panasonic TM700 memory card to Apple hard drive disk when the camcorder is connected to iMac/MacBook Pro via USB cable. Run Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac as the super Mac Panasonic MTS

filtering a role playing dimension

I have a role playing dimension and need to run a query that will select the intersection of members that are common on a single attribute...    So Dim1 and Dim2, they both have the attribute [Name] (though the fact table has two different foreing keys mapping to the single primary key on the dimension table) I need to select the members where both foreign keys on the fact table map to the same member in the dimension table so for example,  Dim1.Name = 'John Smith' and Dim2.Name = 'John Smith' Any ideas? No sound when playing MPEG video in MediaElement

Hi, I am writing a multimedia centre using the WPF MediaElement control, the project is very mature and going really well. However I get no audio when my player plays a .MPG file. I have tried installing lots of different codec packages on my test machine but to no avail. The same files have audio when loaded in WMP but not in my WPF application. I am developing on an XP machine and on that I get sound, but on my target machine, Windows 7, no sound! Other formats such as AVI etc do not have this problem. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Different attribute name in each dimension for a role playing dimension

Is it possible to name the attribute differently in a role playing dimension. For example I use the Date dimension as the role playing dimension for Ship Date and Order Date. When I use these attributes on the report, both of them show as 'Date' which is the name of the attribute in the Date dimension. Is there any work around to implement these names differently?

Newbie question about embedding videos, etc.

I know how to use the web part to insert a video which works just fine. What I don't know is how I can configure/design a page which I can display several videos with explanatory texts next to them, much like this page:  http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/en-us/Pages/Videos.aspx I know it's a total newbie question, but I guess I gotta start somewhere!
