Please help...
I cant uninstall SQL server 2005 express. I will try to make this as un confusing as I can. I installed a program called SRS that has a SQL 2005 express install as part of it. It would not run after install, so we tried to uninstall it and the SQL server
wont uninstall. It says "ARP wrapper registry enumeration failed. " If I try to install SQL server 2005 express again without uninstalling it, it gives me a 1603 error.
Is there a way to get SQL off my darn server without having to rebuild the OS? It is on server 2008 R2. It is driving me insane. I already tried
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909967 and it didnt work. Does any one know if there is a registry key that holds the info so you cant uninstall it or re install it? My next course of action is wipe the DC and start
over. Very time consuming. I am hoping to avoid this. I hate how microsoft buries this stuff so you cant find it. Or, with my brain power, I cant find it. :)
Thanks in advance.
