SSRS 2008 group footer totals on a new page has a non-expected large cell height

SSRS 2008 group footer totals on a new page has a non-expected large cell height. When the group total is the first component on a new page, then this happens, but when it is part of the group on but not the first component, then it reverts to normal cell height. I have played with the advance settings now for hours, but cannot get this to work. Any ideas?

incorrect page number in footer

We have a 200+ page document with 33 sections (many created due to two columns of text and tables within the document). In addition, we are editing between Mac and PC. We want to keep the same footer throughout. They are finally all linked to the previous, except for the last section which begins on page 184. We have looked and looked (in draft mode, formatting codes on) trying to determine why the page numbering reverts back to 1 for that section, but can find nothing. The other part of the footer is fine, but the page numbering should start on 184. When we try to manually change the page format, the entire previous section changes. We are at wits end on this one. I tried copying and pasting the entire document to another document and the same thing happens.

Footer Not At Bottom Of Page

I have created a footer in my master page however, the content is overlapping the footer. I have below both the Mater Page and the Solutions web page so that someone can assist me.

I have purposely added some data to the Solutions web page to show what I'm talking about.

Anyone know how to keep the footer below the content?

Absolutely page-bottom alignment on "report footer": Impossible?

Relative newb to SSRS here, but the answer to this question evades me; answers and insight are appreciated.

Report in question is an invoice form. It requires an absolutely bottom-of-page aligned footer that has databound elements.

This is so that whatever page that footer finally appears on will print in such a way that the address will align in a windowed envelope.

Ironically, Books Online gives this exact scenario in explaining headers and footers in SSRS, but they cleverly don't explain how an absolutely bottom-of-page-aligned and data-bound footer can be made to happen. Headers at absolute page top is obviously no problem. Footers at page bottom, not so much.

So, this is not a "page footer"--page footers are employed in the body. Also this footer is databound, so a page footer as it's known in SSRS is out the window anyway.

Most of the time this will print on a single page, but if it breaks to multiple pages, that footer needs to go all the way to the absolute bottom.

I grasp that the "report footer" for SSRS is just what appears at the end of any repeating controls that you've implemented in your body. Because SSRS uses this kind of repeating-control based idiom rather than a section-based idiom as Crystal does, this kind of (what I would consider very basic) positioning control is looking fairly impos

Changing the graphics on the home page of a SharePoint site

When you create a site in Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services by using the default Team Site template, the home page includes two default graphics. A Windows SharePoint Services graphic appears in the body of the page, and a picture of a house in a circle appears near the site title. You can change these graphics to customize your site. Changing the smaller graphic requires a Windows SharePoint Services compatible Web page editor

Reduce ASP.NET Page size and complexity using JQuery

I also compare the implementation of these frameworks. In next posts i will explain more about JQuery and ASP.NET Ajax and also tell you "How to combine the power of both framework". My Future post will related to ASP.NET and related frameworks.

Page.PreviousPage.FindControl

I have 2 web pages. First page has a textbox and a button control.

when I enter test and click on the button , system goes to the second page. And in the second page I want to access the Textbox in the first page. When I try to do this I get the following error.

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Following is my code :

Dim txt As New TextBox

' Find the server name on the previous page
txt = CType(Page.PreviousPage.FindControl("TextBox2"), TextBox)
If Not IsNothing(txt) Then
Response.Write(Server.HtmlEncode(txt.Text))
Else
Response.Write("[Name Not available]")
End If

I know I could do this with session, but I want to use the Page.PreviousPage.FindControl. Any help is greatly appreciated
