HtmlElement.GetAttribute.("onClick") method getting and setting

Posted By:      Posted Date: September 24, 2010    Points: 0   Category :.NET Framework
Using a WebBrowser control I want to assign a new method to the "onClick" event of an anchor element. GetAttribute returns a System.__ComObject, so it doesn't work if I use SetAttribute with the javascript string for the new method. Any idea? Thank you all in advance.

HtmlElement.GetAttribute("class") doesn't run

I used the following code to write on a text file the class attribute and the correspondent tag, but, i don't no why,
the class attribute doesn't run(the program doesn' t find the class attribute) I tried with align and it run.

private void webBrowser1_DocumentCompleted(object sender, WebBrowserDocumentCompletedEventArgs e)

HtmlDocument doc=webBrowser1.Document;

HtmlElementCollection Elem = doc.GetElementsByTagName("HTML");

System.Text.StringBuilder str = new System.Text.

Need help setting up a Custom Security Trimmer, CheckAccess method not working.

I'm implementing the custom security trimmer for SharePoint server as outlined here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee819923.aspx

I have been able to successfully deploy the solution on to the server, but know I need to write the script that will check whether users have access to particular documents or not. The code in the walk-through is the following:

public BitArray CheckAccess(IList<String> documentCrawlUrls, IDictionary<String, Object> sessionProperties, IIdentity passedUserIdentity)
            BitArray retArray = new BitArray(documentCrawlUrls.Count);
            //Use passedUserIdentity to get the identity of the user who issued the query.
            IClaimsIdentity claimsIdentity = (IClaimsIdentity)passedUserIdentity;
           //IClaimsIdentity is defined in Microsoft.IdentityModel.Claims;
            for (int x = 0; x < documentCrawlUrls.Count; x++)

Setting method parameters to accept only string or Type.

I have a dictionary object I'm working on that can take keys of either of two types: string or System.Type. Currently I have TKey set as object, and then explicitly check the type. Is there a better way to handle this?

as an example, in the below code, I want to ...

  replace IDictionary<object,IDataTranslator> with IDictionary<string or Type,IDataTranslator>

  replace the two internal dictionary with one, that is only string/Type - that way I don't have to do any redundant type checking?

//stores data for specialized/default translations between types/strings
//IDataTranslator is a custom interface used in the library
public class translators : IDictionary<object,IDataTranslator>
 //holds the string-based translators
 protected Dictionary<string,IDataTranslator> m_translators_s;
 //holds the dictionary based translators.
 protected Dictionary<Type,IDataTranslator> m_translators_t;

Thinking about new C# method prototypes: object as dictionary

I recently had to write a small Flickr API. I know many .Net API for Flickr already exist but I needed one for a Silverlight application. Whatever, it's only about building some querystrings so I did it by myself. It's been an opportunity to think again about a classical question: how to pass parameters to a method ?

Imagine you have a generic method to call some Flickr functions.

Setting the default start page in godaddy hosting?

 How do you set the start page with godaddy hosting? I can see no way of doing this! You do not seem to have access to the IIS settings that allow you to change it!

Setting default localization

I ever thought that I can set a default localization if the users one (which is set in the browser) isn't available.

I've implemented my localresource files for localization. The start.aspx.resx contains all texts and elements for German use and the start.aspx.en.resx for English users. When I switch the language in the browser settings from German to English everything works fine and the english text is displayed. But when I switch to an other language which is not German or English, it takes defaulty the german resource files.

I've set

UICulture="auto:en-US" Culture="auto:en-US"

as well, but it didn't assume the .en resource file automatically. (For example when I enter the website and switch the browser language to French or Italian it should take the english resource files.)

Thanks and regards,
