OpacityMask on StrokeThickness

Hello,

I have a line for which I want the opacity to fade out across the thickness of the line. I only manage to apply a LinearGradientBrush along the length of the line as in the sample below.

I found quite a few threads about this topic when i searched, I was not able to get this working anyway.

What i want to do, I want to apply a scaletransform to the strokethickness of a line
