I managed to add a tool bar IE using the BandObjectLib which is written in C# and uses DESKBANDINFO struct and others the thing is I want to attach a window when a button is clicked that has some input like button and lists etc..The window is not part of the toolbar, but rather it is The project I am using is the following http://cgeers.wordpress.com/2008/02/16/internet-explorer-toolbar/#download

I created a separate window control but it's appearing as if it is a separate unit. I just wanna be able to detect the exact location of the toolbar button relative to the screen..

Any suggestions?

adding Window Media Player into IE Toolbar

Hello: I am facing a problem in adding a Window Media Player Control into IE ToolBar. I found a project written in C# on Code Project site that can add a text into IE toolBar. But I can't add the window Media Player into IE. The Project I found constitutes of 2 projects BandOjLib and SampleBars window Application C sharp where the development is happening in it. So what you do in SampleBars project will be embedded into BandObj Project after compilation and start without debugging both BandObj and SampleBars respectively. When I am adding the Window Media Player into TOOLBOX, then to drag it into window Form => it gives me this error: Assembly generation failed -- Referenced assembly 'AxInterop.WMPLib' does not have a strong name. I have tried to give it a strong name but with no vain???? I am sending you the project link http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/dotnetbandobjects.asp?select=1113574&df=100&forumid=3788&noise=1&mpp=50&fr=51#xx1024015xx. So please if you have any advice try to inform me.   Regards, R0nda

How to hide 'no actions' on BDC toolbar

On my BDC list web part, I want the pager feature on the toolbar, but not the 'actions' drop down on the toolbar itself, since it never has any actions in it.

Follow up bonus question, why does that 'Actions' option appear there anyway?  It never has any actions that I can find.

Can you actually assign some sort of action there (as opposed to the line items actions in the web part).

Where is Format Document icon to add to toolbar in VS2010

For years now, I always added the "Format Document" icon to my HTML Editing toolbar.  It always was difficult to find this in VS2008 and VS2005.  It seem it has been completely eliminated in VS2010.

Does anyone have any idea where is might be in the Customize toolbar myriad of commands?

I realize it is available under the Edit drop down menu as well as keyboard command Ctrl K, Ctrl D.  But is is just so much more helpful to put it on the toolbar.

Thanks in advance for your help!

How To: Refresh Menu or Toolbar content

Hey all...in my WPF main window, I have a Menu defined with several elements and it is using a Markupextension to do the binding of the content.   <MenuItem Header="{extension:method Label}"/>   I want to be able to re-initialize the menu so it refreshes the labels. (I also need to do this on other elements as well) I saw some examples using WeakEvents to do this but it looks like the menu or window has to be bound to it. When I tried this, my EventManager kept on dropping the listener after two passes. Is there another way to do this other than coding it: mnuItem.Header = DomyFunction("Content")   TIA AndrewAndrew MacNeill (MVP VFP)

Extended control in the ToolBar

What kind od project i need for that? I tried "ASP.NET Server Control" but the class inside this type of project does not have designer. I need to be able to drag and drop the things in designer and then code against them.I would like to upgrade the createUserWizard control and have it available in the toolbox.Namely i am using this control pretty often and usually i always add some extra things to it (the very same fields). So i thought it would be handy if i could have it as control in the toolbox. Click event for added RibbonButton in quick access toolbar

Hi! I'm using the new RibbonWindow from Microsoft. When I add a ribbon button to the quick access toolbar at runtime (via right click => add to quick access toolbar) and I click on the button in the quick access toolbar, the associated click event is not fired. It seems, the toolbar makes a copy of the original button, but does not copy the click event handler. How do I detect a click on the newly added button? Thanks! Jus
