Now that R2 is released, we're attempting to build our new installer that uses it as there seems to be significant stability improvements to the installation process.
So that Microsoft is aware, 99.2% (not exagerating) of our installation issues reported by customers and prospective customers are to do wtih SQL Server 2008 Express not installing properly.
What I'm looking for is a comprehensive list (unlike the msdn article for SQL Server 2008 that didn't even include the flags to get filestreaming on by default!) of all of the command line flags and what they do clearly with an example of each. Does this
exist or can someone provide them?
And is there a flag that says "Just bloody install! I don't care about your checks!". I don't want it to do any checks on install at all, I just want it to install the product nothing else.
