How to consume java base SOAP web service XWSS?

I have java base SOAP web service XWSS. I installed WES 3.0 + VS2008

When I’s setting Security.Takens.Add() I’m getting message:
SoapContext.Security is obsolete.
Consider deriving from SendSecurityFilter or ReceiveSecurityFilter and creating a custom policy assertion that generates these filters.

Does it require some web service updates?
Do you have any samples how to create Custom Policy?

Consume MOSS 2007 list to 2010

Hi all, My end goal is to display a list in SharePoint2010 .... but the list actually originates from SharePoint2007. I thought it could be as easy as creating BCS to the SP2007 list web service (/_vti_bin/Lists.asmx) but BCS has issues with the complex data types and based on other threads this isn't possible.  We've been able to create a data source to the web service and display the list contents on a custom aspx page, but this isn't exactly our end goal. Is there a best practice for this type of thing?  Or do we have to go down the path of creating a custom web part while consuming the web service directly or the SOAP data source we've created?+ Note: Migration is not an option at this point... integration is our current path. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Eric

Not able to consume a WCF service

I have been working very hard in the weekend to make me Json wcf service work. I found lot of articles on json service which are self hosted, even this works fine for me. But while I'm trying to consume a JSON wcf service hosted on the server, it is not working. (At this point I'm assuming that there is no need to add a WCF service as a reference because the http:server:portnumber/Service.svc/js serves as the script proxy which can be used to call the service hosted on the server. ) I have searched a lot but could not find a single article with steps to follow while deploying a JSON wcf service on a server and then consuming in different application. Can any body please help me in getting this problem solved. Like any example or a sample Thanks,

Consume a .NET webservice

Hi, I am new to web services and I have done a little homework in web services. I was able to consume the web service and I am able to see all the web methods. My question is that according to my assumption web method takes in XML data which I am not sure of how to send the data in XML form. I will explain with a sample example. Here is a web method "UpdateContact"  and the input parameters are ClientName, PassKey, ContactID, AttributesXML. What is the AttributesXML as the input parameter. According to my understanding, all the values in the form are to be converted to the XML form and send it to the web method using the AttributesXML parameter. I wanted to know is my understanding right or wrong. If it is right please guide me in sending the data to the web method in the XML form. If I am wrong please give me a clear understanding. Thanks in advance
