I have setup a library with a content type that I have defined an expiration policy for. For testing purposes. I have setup a content type called Test and any document that is of the Test content type in the library has a 1 day expiration. I setup a date
column that I use as the property for setting the expiration date. This column is called Date Reviewed. So Date Reviewed + 1 day = Expiration Date...simple. I have set the Expiration Configuration timer to run daily.
When a document expires, the policy launches a workflow that I created in Designer, that does a check against the Expiration date and sends a review task to the document owner if the Expiration date =Today.
My problem is, Expiration will run once successfully and then, even if I update the Date Reviewed date, thus setting a different Expiration Date, the policy will not launch the workflow again on the new Expiration Date. The Expiration Date doesnt even recalculate
in the column.
I can run the workflow manually on the expired documents and it works. Expiration nor Process Expired Documents Now will launch the workflow.
Bug or did I miss something?
