Change image paths programmatically

Hello. what i want is pretty easy .

my all image paths are relative atm. so they are getting processed like this

 

www.pokemoncraft.com/images/xxx.png

 

what i want is to convert all image paths to this with image http handler

 

static.pokemoncraft.com/images/xxx.png

 

static.pokemoncraft.com domain is cookieless

so this will reduce http headers size and increase performance

 

i think this should be pretty easy

i am making a web form with a VB code behind.  on the form I have a down arrow imageButton that when pressed hides certain data.  what i want to do is change the button to an up arrow and vice versa whenever pressed.  i have both images loaded onto my project already.  any suggestions.

HiI have a masterpage on a site, in order to use the site the user has to login first. And after that I  would like to customize the masterpage with a unique css file and a unique imageurl for a image on the masterpage. Whar is the preferable way to achive this?

UPDATE: Apologies for the previous formatting error - hopefully the post is now more readable... Hi I have a button with an image control next to it. Before the button is clicked, the image control "ConfirmedStatusImage" shows a "cancel.png" image. When the button has been clicked (and some other code successfully executed), then I change the imageurl for the "theConfirmedStatusImage" to show a "ok.png" image. Quite a bit of time can often pass between clicking the button and the associated code executing, so I have an ajax update progress control that shows a "bluespinner.gif" image while the page is updating after the button click. At the moment, the update progress updating image appears next to the "ConfirmedStatusImage" control. However, I would like to change things so that when the update progress starts, the imageurl of "ConfirmedStatusImage" changes from "cancel.png" to the update progress image (i.e., the "bluespinner.gif"). Then, when the update is complete, then the image should change to the "ok.png" image. My question is: how can I achieve this? As far as I can tell, the update progress control does not have any events that I can hook into. Also, placing the "ConfirmedStatusImage" inside the ProgressTemplate would not work either, as this only displays

I have two drop down listboxes (DDL1 and DDL2).  When DDL1 has an index change, DDL2 then has a refresh of list items based off SQL Server SELECT from a table.  The database isn't the problem.  Everything works perfectly when the user selects a new item manually from DDL1.But in my code, I save the user data from the selection of DDL1 in a separate table.  And then upon rendering of the page (Page_PreRenderComplete), I do a SelectedIndex assignment of the value of what's saved in the db table.  That works just fine, it selects the DDL1 item, but DDL2 is unaffected, as if DDL1's SelectedIndexChanged event isn't called like it would be if manually changed.  How can I get around this?Thanks in advance. :)

I am attempting to modify the properties of another webpart when my webpart's button is clicked. The code compiles and runs, and stepping through it shows that the properties do change. However, they don't stay changed. This example attempts to toggle the visibility state, but other properties won't stay changed either.
