Problem to create assembly which depends on other dll's from SQL Server

I am developing an application in .Net but I need to access to some procedures in ASP.Net since SQL Server.I have got it but i have problems to assembly the dll if it has dependencies of another dll's.I have read that if a dll need other dll it call it automatically but when I try to assembly my class in .NET there is the next error: Create failed for SqlAssembly 'ClaseEjemplo'. Assembly 'csyt.dal, version=, culture=neutral, publickeytoken=null.' was not found in the SQL catalog. (.Net SqlClient Data Provider) Nevertheless if I the class hasn't another dependencies it works. The class I am trying to assembly is ClaseEjemplo. If I try to use the procedure of other class "'csyt.dal" I have problems. If ClaseEjemplo hasn't dependencies it works perfectly! My class ClaseEjemplo is: using System;using System.Collections.Generic;using System.Text;using Csyt.DAL;using Csyt.Info; namespace ClaseEjemplo{    public class Class1    {        public static long devolucion()        {            AIAlarmaDB.TipoCondicion aux1 = new AIAlarmaDB.TipoCondicion();                        AIAlarmaDB aux = new AIAlarmaDB();            aux1=aux.GetTipoCondicionById(1);            return aux1.Id;        }     }}Thanks in advance

Problems with the & symbol in the term store management

Hi, I encountered a strange error in the production environment of one of our customers. The ‘&’ symbol is being shown, in the term store management, as this ‘?’ symbol. In our test environment this problem does not occur. Did anyone else encounter this issue? I am really curious what causes it. Thanks in advance for the help.

Taxonomy term store additions via site setting are not visible to user in RC1

Is see that its possible to define Taxonomy term store via SharePoint main central  admin page. But when I try to add term store entries via a new site in the same collection ....  site setting -> Site Administration -> Term store management any new entries are not visible. That is to say when a user starts to enter a tag the helper dialog does not show any values added via the site but all values add via the central admin do appear. this seems like a bug and the is in RC1 or am I doing something wrong

Not able to open Term Set Manager

I want to create a local term set for my site collection by creating a new Site Column, setting its type to Manged metadata, and in the managed metadata section check the 'Customize your term set' radiobutton. What happends onclick is that an alert box pops up with the information: 'This operation cannot be completed. The term store may be unavailable'. The 'Edit Using Term Set Manager' link is also dead. I am able to open the Term Store Mgt Tool from site settings and have full CRUD access on terms under the Managed Metadata Service, I'm also able to add new keyword under System, so I think I should have access. I have restarted IIS, cleaned the solution, but the problem persists Have anyone experienced this problem?

list of employees - custom list or managed metadata term set ?

Hi all, I am working on a intranet site for a small company with 25 employees. They want to create a site for tracking employee training. Most of the items on this site are going to be associated with an employee entity. What is the best way to manage the employee entity ? should I create a custom list called employee or should I create a term set called employee containing the names of all 25 employees ? In a related question is it possible to add a "people picker" field to a custom list ? ( e.g. Training schedule list ) I note that for 'assign to' columns SharePoint provides a dialog which enables you to browse and select users from active directory. Is there a way to add similar lookup functionality to a custom list in SharePoint ? thanks and regards, Counie

Deploying taxonomy term store and managed meta column from development machine to production machine

Hi, In my development environment, I created a taxonomy term store by importing a CSV file. I also created a site column of type "managed meta data" based on that term store. Now, I want to migrate to production environment. What is the best way to do this? When I generate the schema of my site column, it looks like this: <Field Type="TaxonomyFieldTypeMulti"    DisplayName="Article Type"    List="{d8b20e4f-ce12-4def-b59d-d44da2c13234}"    WebId="eef74e7c-a852-4c89-b811-e31b86853641"    ShowField="Path1033"    Required="FALSE"    EnforceUniqueValues="FALSE"    Group="Custom Columns"    ID="{47f78411-65fa-43c9-8cb8-68955aea1256}"    SourceID="{eef74e7c-a852-4c89-b811-e31b86853641}"    StaticName="Article_x0020_Type"    Name="Article_x0020_Type"    Version="4"    Mult="TRUE"    Sortable="FALSE"> <Default></Default> <Customization> <ArrayOfProperty> <Property> <Name>SspId</Name> <Value xmlns:q1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" p4:type="q1:string" xmlns:p4="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">99d

Managed Metadata Term Set Update

How to make number of columns of Gridview depends on a textbox value?

I have a Gridview with 12 columns, Jan, Feb...Dec.
I have a textbox value that could be 1, 2,...12

I want if textbox value is 7, then column Aug-Dec in Gridview is editable when in update mode and the column in Jan-Jul is not updatable (eg make it label instead of textbox).

How can I do this ?

why WCF uses the term "transport schema" in address?

Any thing new than the original term "transport protocol"?

How to add custom properties to terms in the SharePoint 2010 managed metadata term store?

There is a "Term.CustomProperties" collection to get the collection of custom property objects for the current Term object from the read-only dictionary.
But where and how to define and set custom properies for terms? This dictionary seems to be read-only by default.

Any help / documentation would be appreciated. / Frank

Anyone know why the "&" sign gets transformed to "&" and doesn´t get encoded when used in a term in

We hava a term in the Managed Metadata application that has a "&" sign in it. This "&" sign gets a really weird formatting, actually the regular "&" sign that i type gets transformed to "&" sign. This sign doesn´t get encoded. Hence when we get a xml search result from Search.asmx with this field in the xml result we get an error. Invalid xml document. It is because this sign doesn´t get encoded.

Is this only in my environment??? How can my "&" sign get transformed to "&" and then the system can´t handle that sign?!! (retoric question) :)

invalid expression term "public"

I've been reading beginning asp.net 3.5 and following basic tutorials from this site and learnvisualstudio.net.

I don't think I've came across why you cannot create public variables inside page_load. I always have to declare public variables before the page_load block for them to work. The reason why I would like to use public variables inside other blocks is because I like data binding expressions into my .aspx page and it will only let me <%# varibleName %> expressions that are public. I'm sure there are better methods like creating Labels and setting text property equal to my private strings name but I end up with the <spans> that labels generate and Im a control freak, I like putting single type data expressions inside <p> or <h3> which makes it easier for me to manage my CSS file for the appearances of them. I guess the queston I would like answered mostly is why can't I declare public variables inside page_load.

Set radio button as checked depends on the model property value

I got 3 radio-buttons:

<input type="radio" name"transport" value="taxi" checked /> Taxi <br />

<input type="radio" name"transport" value="train" /> Train <br />

<input type="radio" name"transport" value="bus" /> Bus <br />

I tried this but got error:

<input type="radio" name"transport" value="bus" <%: if (Model.Transport == "bus" ) { %> checked <:% } %>/> Bus <br />

The error was

CS1525: Invalid expression term 'if'

Any idea?

Invalid expression term 'else'

Can you please tell me what I am missing???
