I have assigned a work to create a report, that should render in excel with dropdown list. i.e. report should contain a input parameter as a table names, when user selects the table name, report should show only the field names of the selected table. Some
of the field name have look up values that values should be displayed as dropdown when we export to excel.
Can any one have any idea how to proceed with this report?
OverviewI am using WSS 3.0 and SharePoint Designer.ÃÂ I have modified one of the items in my NewForm page so that I haveÃÂ a filtered lookup using a spdatasource.ÃÂ The filter works great, but my issue is that I can't seem to save the users selection back to the list itself.Issue when using an ASP.NET dropdown listI am able to bindÃÂ the filtered spdatasourceÃÂ to an ASP.NET dropdown list control,ÃÂ however the item that is selected in the dropdown list is not being saved back to the list.ÃÂ I am guessing that this is because the dropdown list itself is not tied directly to the appropriate list item,ÃÂ but... I can't seem to figure out how or where to do this.ÃÂ ÃÂ I don't see anything in the data properties box in SharePoint Designer that allows me to tie the data back to the list itself.ÃÂ Maybe I am just overlooking it somewhere?Issue when using the native SharePoint Data View DropDownList with a filtered spdatasourceWhen I select "Data Fields..." on the dropdown control I get the Change Data Bindings dialog box.ÃÂ From here I can select a data field to save the value back to (which resolves the issue noted for the asp.net control) and I can select my spdatasource, but... the display text and value fields below that never populate.ÃÂ Thus, the dropdown list is empty when the user is filling ou

MainReport: a List containing two Sub-Reports. The data of the List only has two rows. Set the visibility of the sub-report based on the data.
SubReport1: a textbox showing "Sub Report 1"
SubReport2: a textbox showing "Sub Report 2"
I expect to see SubReport1 in Page 1 and SubReport2 in Page 2.
But I only see SubReport1 in Page 1 and Page 2 is a blank page.
These reports work in SSRS 2005, but not in SSRS 2008.
