I have a table containing courses, columns are
Name - "Yoga Classes"
DateStart - "2/23/2010"
DateEnd - "2/24/2010"
I am using ListView Control to bind it, is there a way to display them and group them by Month?
Piano Class (10th Jan 2010 - 11th Jan 2010)Guitar Class (10th Jan 2010 - 11th Jan 2010)
Yoga Class (15th Feb 2010 - 16th Feb 2010) etc...
Thanks for help.
Seems like a stupid question, but I will go to Build > Build Solution many many times and the build will succeed many many times, then I will put in a minor syntax error and the build will fail, BUT the build will not fail because of the minor syntax error; it will fail because of an unresolved type that I put in about twenty compiles ago. And then I will fix the minor syntax eror, and the compiler will still complain about the unresolved type. Here is my code:
<%@ Register TagPrefix="FTB" Namespace="FreeTextBoxControls" Assembly="FreeTextBox" %><html><body> <form runat="server"> Hello World!! </form></body></html>
Pretty simple, really. I go to Buld > Build WebApplication1 and it runs OK. Now, if I put in a minor syntax error, such as substitute "forrrrrrrm" for "form" and then try to Build Solution, it complains not about the misspelled word, but about the FreeTextBox. And then if I correct the misspelled wird, it still complains about the FreeTextBox. Which leads me to believe that Building the Solution does not check absolutely 100% everything that needs to be checked. Is there a more thorough way of compiling a program that I need to use?
I have a 3 field table in sql server express and one of the columns is a date.
I'm trying to pull that in and publish to a gridview, but when I do it comes in with the date and minutes and seconds, etc.
How can I format that so that I only publish MM/DD/YYYY?
thanks in advance
I am using a Jquery datepicker in my project. There are a lot of pages where I use this date picker and w henever I select any date
from that ,am getting an error "length is null or not an object error on line 173"
The HMML for my datepicker control is
<input type="text" id="dpAgreementExpDate" runat="server" maxlength="10" />
I am using a text box which captures the date from the datepicker and displays in dd/MM/yyyy format in asp.net using C#
When i try to pass this text box value into the DatTime variable i am getting the error as
"String was not recognized as a valid DateTime. "
my code goes like this
i tried to use Conver.ToDateTime() function but the same error is croping up..
Can any one plz suggest me on this.....Thnks in advance
HiIm receiving a strange error Error Message: Conversion from string "15/08/2010 22:21:35" to type 'Date' is not valid.I know this is generally down to cultural date formats etc, however the reason this is strange is it just randomly occured twice in the last week, the website has been running since october and nothing has changed,The error constantly occured until the IIS was reset and recompilled the site, its been running fine since, however im just trying to figure out what could cause such an error to occur.I've narrowed it down to a line of code which is:bktime = DReader.Item("Bktime").ToStringbktime = Year(CDate(bktime)) & "-" & fmt(Month(CDate(bktime)), 2) & "-" & fmt(Day(CDate(bktime)), 2)
Has anyone else encountered this randomly occuring and is there anything i can put in place to prevent this in future?CheersMike
