I am a Sharepoint newbie and have set up a new site with a Shared Document Library. I need to restrict access to one folder. I have broke inheritance and to test, only allowed myself access to the folder. I log onto the site as my test user and he can browse
and open the documents in the folder. He is a 'domain user' and is a member of no groups.
When I 'check permissions' on the folder I get this :
Permission levels given to bill2 (testdomain\bill2)
The following factors also affect the level of access for bill2 (testdomain\bill2)
View Web Analytics Data
View reports on Web site usage.
Enumerate files and folders in a Web site using SharePoint Designer and Web DAV interfaces.
View items in lists and documents in document libraries.
View pages in a Web site.
Enumerate permissions on the Web site, list, folder, document, or list item.
View the source of documents with server-side file handlers.
