I have run into a brick wall in my test development unfortunately and am not sure where to go from here. What I am trying to do is work up a test set of AJAX code that does the following ultimately.
1) Select Statement to load information for a selection within a dropdownlist (AJAX Database example on W3Schools is similar, just with a SQL connection as opposed to Access)
2) Insert Statement where a user types in information and submits it to the ASP page that recognizes it and creates the appropriate insert statement into SQL (This is where I am having the issue)
3) Update Statement where a user selects something from the dropdownlist and it pre-loads it within the textboxes (previously used for creating new inserts) so that they may be altered and saved (effectively sending to the ASP page the needed update information).
At the moment, I have managed to get the connection to the ASP page and the parameters are loaded (as to whether or not the ASP page is reading them, however, is something I am not sure of)
