RSS feeds set up in the RSS viewer won't restore

I set up a feed in the RSS viewer web part.  It looks fine in Internet Explorer; however, <!-- /* Font Definitions */ @font-face {font-family:"Cambria Math"; panose-1:2 4 5 3 5 4 6 3 2 4; mso-font-charset:0; mso-generic-font-family:roman; mso-font-pitch:variable; mso-font-signature:-536870145 1107305727 0 0 415 0;} @font-face {font-family:Calibri; panose-1:2 15 5 2 2 2 4 3 2 4; mso-font-charset:0; mso-generic-font-family:swiss; mso-font-pitch:variable; mso-font-signature:-520092929 1073786111 9 0 415 0;} @font-face {font-family:Verdana; panose-1:2 11 6 4 3 5 4 4 2 4; mso-font-charset:0; mso-generic-font-family:swiss; mso-font-pitch:variable; mso-font-signature:536871559 0 0 0 415 0;} /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-unhide:no; mso-style-qformat:yes; mso-style-parent:""; margin-top:0in; margin-right:0in; margin-bottom:10.0pt; margin-left:0in; line-height:115%; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:11.0pt; font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family:Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman";} .MsoChpDefault {mso-style-type:export-only; mso-default-props:yes; font-size:10.0pt; mso-ansi-font-size:10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt; mso-ascii-font-family:Calibri; mso-fareast-font-family:Calibri; mso-hansi-font-family:Calibri;} @page Section1 {size:8.5in

RSS Viewer web part cannot view Sharepoint's own feeds?

Using MOSS 2007, if I want to view a list or a blog as an RSS feed using the RSS Viewer web part, it fails with the error "An unexpected error occured processing your request.  Check the logs for details and correct the problem."

(The misspelling of "occured" is not mine, that's how the web part displays the error message...)

I understand that the RSS Viewer web part cannot view authenticated feeds, but I have Kerberos set up (no double hop issues) and I am not using a proxy server, so shouldn't this just pass the credentials on from the client?

The only thing I see in the log file is:

Silverlight Slideshow Viewer for SharePoint

This series will walk through the Building Blocks that I have created to demonstrate and improve the SharePoint end user experience. I have been using many of these techniques in my developer focused demos for SharePoint 2010 (and in some cases SharePoint 2007). My plan is to use this post series to distribute my code and provide more detail on the why and the how of many of my code samples

How to set up microsoft application blocks 4.0 to talk to event viewer

I need to set up the microsoft application blocks 4.0 on the server and connect it to my web project.  I need to set it up so that all the errors are logged in the event viewer.  So far I have found out how to set up a flat file listener and send the error to a log file but, not to the event viewer.  Any suggestions would be helpful.

MMC: Designing TView, a System Information Viewer MMC Snap-in

Windows 2000 provides remote management tools running in the Microsoft Management Console (MMC), but if you're running Windows NT 4.0 you can create your own remote management tools by writing an MMC snap-in. This article walks through the development of a distributed process management utility, TView, which is similar to Process Viewer or Task Manager. The tool consists of an MMC snap-in, a COM+ component, and a kernel-mode driver. The DCOM interface, TView's access to system processes and information, and debugging of TView are discussed in detail.

Document viewer on a documents Library & Tooltip Bubble on rollover

    Hi everybody,
1 - I would like to know, if in Sharepoint 2007 ECM part (Documents Library), there's a downloadable webpart or an application to create a document viewer (pdf, doc, xls, msg...) in an iframe when you point the mousse over a document or something like that...
If it doesn't exist do you have in mind a code sample which can make something like that ? thank you.

2 - It's possible in a documents library to activate balloon tooltips which show us metas of the document (on mousse over), like an option or an application...

    Thank you very much.
    All the best.
