Can we upload or download multiple documents to shared documents ?
I have an option to upload multiple documents, but when I place my pointer over there, "This control is currently disabled.. You might not have the right permission level to use this, you might need to select an object or item, or the control might
not work in this context" I am getting this error.
Please let me know how to download or upload multiple documents.

I can't seem to approve multiple documents even when following the proper procedure.
I'm using MOSS, with an internet/Publishing site. I go to site actions >> manage Content, check the checkboxes next to the items I need approved/checked in (they all have the same 'status' like draft, or pending), I click either approve or check
in/publish depending on what I'm trying to do, and the only item that gets approved is the last item I checked.
There is a workflow attached that when I click approve, I'm brought to the approval workflow page to add approvers and such, but it only lists one item for approval.
Anyone have any idea why that is, or has anyone experienced this before?
Is it possible to attach multiple files to a single item in a List Webpart. If So how?
We are using MOSS 2007 and the attachements will be word dorcuments.
I am getting issue in "Upload Multiple Documents" after office 2010 install.
Its asking me to Drag n Drop files but after droping all files, if i click OK button , each file Staus is failed.
Kindly help me, its urgent.
I have searched and searched but have not found a solution anywhere. My problem is that we have a number of document libraries that require check out for editing and have mandatory fields. When users upload multiple documents the documents are kept checked
out until a value is assigned to the field and the document is checked in. The issue is, that users may not complete the process and subsequently no other users can see the document.
We tried indexing the 'Checked out to' field and allowing for users to search based on this. However, this does not display documents with no checked in version and as such does not help...
Is there some way that we can make the search indexer crawl these documents or have a web part that lists documents checked out to the logged in user? We are using SharePoint Foundation 2010 which may make this more difficult.
The upload of large files > 100 MB fails with the "Upload Multiple Documents / Drag & Drop"-Feature, where it is no problem to upload the failed files as single file via Upload Document - "Browse..." with filesize up to 2GB.
Any workaround or configuration tricks known?

Could somebody give some guidance on what is the most efficient way programmatically to upload multiple documents programmatically to a SharePoint document library? Multiple documents is >100,000 documents.
I have looked into using Lists.asmx web service but I am concerned about how slow that would be with bulk uploads. I have also looked into RPC methods but not sure if that is the most efficient code-wise.
Are there other options than web service and RPC methods?
Thanks for any help.
I have thousands of XML files, all with the same schema and I want to import the data in all those files into the SQL Server database.
Obviously, each XML file (data in file) will form a row in the datatable.
Please guide me how do I import multiple XMLs into my database.
I know the way to import but that is one file per operation (Import Wizard) but i have more than 2400 XML files.
Thanks in advance.
