How to set an AttachedProperty of a contorl through ModelItem

Posted By:      Posted Date: September 22, 2010    Points: 0   Category :WPF

Consider the following scenario,

I have a button with an attached property called "Foo" which is of type bool.

In my xaml, I have,

<Button local:MyButtonHelper.Foo="True" Content="Button" Height="52" Name="button1" Width="52"

How do you add attributes to AttachedProperty

I have a designer where I add attached properties to the ModelItem. These then seem to get converted to ModelProperty which is accessed via ModelItem.Properties. How can I add attributes to these properties to make the property grid nicer. I want to add attributes like Description and Category (perhaps IsBrowsable if that is possible as well);

How do I bind the ModelItem collection to combobox in XAML

Hi,

I need to create an custom activity with a combo box that need to display all the activity name within the same parent.

Below are the code snippets that failed to list out the activities name. Anyone has any ideas to make this work?

<ComboBox Name="ActivityList"
  ItemsSource="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource AncestorType={x:Type sas:Sequence}},Path=ModelItem.Activities}"
  DisplayMemberPath="DisplayName"
  SelectedValuePath="DisplayName"
 />

thanks.

Saving a complex custom type Variable to ModelItem

I am using a custom designer in a hosted workflow designer and want to use a complex custom type as a variable in a workflow.

I have been able to save the Variable, complete with values set in the designer Popup, in the ModelItem (to be able to save the workflow to a file) using:

ModelItem.Properties[

"ReqArguments"].SetValue(new

How to walk down ModelItem tree multiple times

Hi all,

This question raised from this discussion

I'm wondering whether we can walk down ModelItem tree multiple times, so that I can perform full tree traversal on the ModelItem tree.

For example:

I have Sequence A which consists of Sequence B.

Sequence B consists of a WriteLine activity.

So currently I have ModelItem instance of Sequence A and I would like to get WriteLine's ModelItem instance.

How to perform that action?

My AttachedProperty can not display in the property view of Visual Stadio 2010.

Hi, When I make an AttachedProperty, it can not show in the properties view in VS 2010.  But same code in VS 2008 works well.  I don't know why?

Here is my steps:

1  define the AttachedProperty

namespace AttachedProperty2010
{
public static class TestAttachedProperty
  {
    public static readonly DependencyProperty AttachedSkinProperty =
      DependencyProperty.RegisterAttached("AttachedSkin", typeof(string), typeof(TestAttachedProperty),
          new FrameworkPropertyMetadata((string)"",
          FrameworkPropertyMetadataOptions.Inherits,
          new PropertyChangedCallback(OnSkinChanged)));

    [AttachedPropertyBrowsableForType(typeof(Button))]
    public
