I recently upgraded my laptop from groove 2007 to Sharepoint Workspace 2010 (along with complete 2010 office pro suite). I was able to use Sharepoint Workspace for a day or two and it inexplicably stopped working shortly thereafter. Each time
I attempt to start the program the Sharepoint screen comes up and indicates it is starting, then disappears without ever completely initializing. The only thing I get is a slurping noise and no screen. I checked the event logs and it never even
makes it to the point of writing to the application log. I also tried to look at the processes while initializing and groove.exe comes up for a second or two and then disappears. The only thing I can do to get sharepoint to launch is by creating
another user account and starting it with that account. I have also gone as far as to repair, uninstall / reinstall, and run groove.exe /clean /all and it still doesn't work. Please help!!! This is also effecting a couple of other folks
(but not all) on my team.
