I can't seem to find a way to hide the column header of a list view web part.ÃÂ Is it possible?ÃÂ It appears that OOB the only list that doesn't show the column header in web parts is the Link List.

hi, i am having sharepoint 2010 Enterprise RTM trial on Windows server 2008 SP2. I wanted to know how a column header of a list in List View Webpart can be hide ?

but i don't see any source editor in content Editor Weppart and also the Hidden button is disabled....
Is it necessary to do this task from code ?
I am working with a multitext line for comments and I have enabled versioning. The version history shows in each item within the View Form. I was wondering if I can have the comments field list in the List View as a column with all the version
history. Right now, it shows as a link "View Entries...". I would like to be able to view all versioin history in the list view under the comments column.
Is is there a feasible solution?

Recently we have moved from Portal server 2003 to Sharepoint Server 2010 and can't seem to find how to search a particular list vie(filtered view) and also how to have the search results return in column view.
Previously in Portal server 2003, our end users had the ability to do full text search in any list view. This allowed our end users to easily search a subset of a list. The returned results were also in a column view
In Sharepoint Server 2010, the list view search, searches all items in the lists(instead of the filtered list view) and also does NOT return the results in column view.
Is there anyway around this?
I'm working in a crippled sharepoint environment - basically our multinational company has given us a Sharepoint with a Teamsite template and no tools to get the best out of it.
I have created a site with a list containing 3 public views. 2 of these views are for the "the workers" to input and view data. The 3rd view has all items, and is for management information for a select number of users. These users do not use the view directly,

I have created few xslt list view webparts for my site but I am not able to display rating control using xslt. I am writing something like this

But for this I think i need to include some parameter or any particular template. Using the above type of code in xslt this is not working. I do not want to display table header row. Please guide me on this.

and also i want to save the information that who has selected radio button in Grid View(Ex: If user select 'Present' or 'Absent' or 'OnDuty' or 'Leave' in these any one) that should be save in sharepoint list.
