Looking for sample code for a popup windows when hovering over a TEXTAREA element

Hi all

My final HTML code creates dynamically many TEXTAREAs elements which contain multi-lines content. The contents of these elements are refreshed every 5 seconds. The problem is when the user hover over the TEXTAREA my current code does show the popup window but it disappear when the DIV area is refreshed.

So I am looking for a sample code which will popup a window and display the content of each TEXTAREA when I hover the mouse over. BUT I wanted the window to stay and NOT dissapear after each DIV refresh. If a "Close" "X" icon is necessary to achieve the goal that would be fine too.

PS: I have used the AJAX HoverMenuExtender but since my Textboxes are inside a UpdatePanel which refreshes the content of the Textboxes every 5 seconds, the Popup disappears and I need it to stay so the user can see the whole content.

Thanks for your help.

Dynamic Image Buttons in GridView not doing partial post back

Hi Gurus - Create a gridview with AllowPaging and AllowSorting = true- On page load, I bind it to datasource (in my case a webservice) - On gridview's rowcreated event, I dynamically add image buttons on the header of the grid for sorting (up/down arrows). On header I have column name and the image. I removed the Column name default sorting link. So user can now only click the image button for sorting.-  Call sorting method This works perfectly fine without AJAX. The paging, sorting works fine. Also when I apply AJAX the paging works fine. But the sorting is doing a full post back instead of partial postback. I have my gridview within UpdatePanel and Triggeres is set on gridview sill it doesn't work.ASPX Code<form id="form1" runat="server"> <asp:ScriptManager ID="ScriptManager1" runat="server" /> <div> <asp:Label ID="lblAccount" runat="server" Text="Account #: "></asp:Label> <asp:TextBox ID="txtAccountNumber" runat="server">12203A30</asp:TextBox> <asp:Button ID="cmdGo" runat="server" Text="Go" OnClick="cmdGo_Click" /><br /> <asp:UpdatePanel ID="UpdatePanel1" runat="server"> &l

Problem trying to execute ALTER SCHEMA from code

I have a visual basic application which needs to make some changes to a SQL Server database (either SQL Server 2005 or 2008).  Specifically, I am trying to eliminate a schema (e.g. MySchema) from the database altogether.  The first thing I must do is move all database objects from 'MySchema' to 'dbo'.  To that end, I execute the command:

ALTER SCHEMA dbo TRANSFER MySchema.ActionsCompleted

I am using an ODBC connection to the database.  There is a user name and password setup on the server that my application uses for all database access.  The error message I get is:

Cannot find the object 'ActionsCompleted', because it does not exist or you do not have permission.

When I run this exact statement from a query in SQL Server Mgmt Studio, it works fine.  The difference is the user (and therefore the permissions).  When I execute from the SQL Server Mgmt Studio, I am effectively an administrator, from my application, I am not.

So, I am trying to figure out what permissions I need to give my application to execute this line.  The documentation says that the user my have CONTROL priviledges over the securable (in this case the table called MySchema.ActionsCompleted) and ALTER priveledges on the dbo schema.  OK, so next I try the following (in SQL Server MGMT Studio):

When binding value to ImageUrl property of Image using XPath it shows code as html markup on fronten

I have a listview in which I want to show an image from an xmldatasource control.

The following works, and shows the value of thumb (in this case: 12_634232073402187500_whatever.jpg)

<asp:ListView ID="repLocationsToCompare" ItemPlaceholderID="itemsGoHere" runat="server">
            <%# XPath("thumb")%>
<asp:XmlDataSource EnableCaching="false" XPath="root/data/compare/locations/location" ID="XMLDSCompare" runat="server"></asp:XmlDataSource>

No problem there, BUT, when I use an imagecontrol:

<asp:ListView ID="repLocationsToCompare" ItemPlaceholderID="itemsGoHere" runat="server">
            <asp:Image ID="img" Visible='<%# XPath("thumb

PublishingWebControls:RichImageField show html code for the image instead of rendering the image

I am modifying the article page layout to display more than one image. The rendered page does not show the image. Its showing the <img> tag instead.

Please help!
