I am new in SSRS and got the request from user to have report as below.
I think the difficult things are
1) The total column in left hand side.
2) The small up/down inside each series. Thank you for the comments.

I am required to plot the following graph in an SSRS report.
Sum of Total Credits to be shown on Positive side and total sum of Debits for a month on negative side. I have created a query which retrieves all the expenses for the month and sums them up before feeding the same to the graph for plotting. Both values returned are positive integers.
(Sorry for the diagram below, i tried to paste an image but it didn't work)
Cannot create a connection to data source !!!! SSRS 2005 I cannot get this errorÃÂ resolve eitherÃÂ for myself or any users, and I'm actually part of the Admin group!ÃÂ Furthermore, a user with whom I'm tring allow to view this report keeps getting prompted for their windows username and password.ÃÂ I thought that since this datasource was set to Windows Authentification that it would just pass it through?
I'm pulling my hair out at this point:
Also As far as I know, I've given sufficient permissions to the right logins and right users on my SQL Databases and related stored procs that the datasets (not datasource) run
An error has occurred during report processing.
Cannot create a connection to data source 'datasourcename'.

I have assigned a work to create a report, that should render in excel with dropdown list. i.e. report should contain a input parameter as a table names, when user selects the table name, report should show only the field names of the selected table. Some
of the field name have look up values that values should be displayed as dropdown when we export to excel.
Can any one have any idea how to proceed with this report?
I am planning to create a SSRS report and lunch it in a ASP.NET web application (not using report server). Since the dataset need to be manipulated before used to generate report (some data fields of tables need to be filled using data got from other system using COM+ components) , I hope I can use a .XSD file as the DataSet to create SSRS report and bind data source dynamically in code. It is not a problem using Crystal Report, but I have no idea how to do it either in Report Designer or in VS 2005. Please advise
For a report executed from Report Manager that has a bar chart component, regenerating the report via refresh or view with same input parameters either gives a different result that is garbled or an empty chart (2008) or no chart at all (2005). I have
the report set up to not do any caching, so that does not seem to be the issue. Is there some chart option I may need to set to get the proper chart display.
I need to create SPC Histogram chart in SSRS 2008 to represent Cp, Cpk etc. i can calculate all this Cp, Cpk but not getting how to represent as a chart in SSRS 2008. I know there is no readymate template availavle in SSRS for SPC but
is there any other way to draw histogram chart ?
You can see the SPC histogram chart example on this link :
Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards
I am creating line graph using BIDS 2005 ( VS 2005). When I select chart type line , I do not see a line graph insteady Scatter dots in graph surface. I have tried to add screen capture in this question but for some reason I can not paste here. I can easily
switch my chart type into Columan,Bar,Pie, XY (Scatter),...etc except Line chart. Any idea or suggestion greatly appreciated!!! Thanks,
I have created SSRS reports and built a user UI to run these reports. Now when creating
SSRS subscriptions in report Manager, is it even possible to programmatically pass the
delivery method (email or file share), To email address, scheduled time and date, etc from my front-end UI to the Report Manager?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I'm having trouble making this drilldown/expand details report. It is probably simple
- but is beyound the basic drill down examples that I have found.
My data has multiple rows per product because 2 of the columns are joined with tables
that include multiple rows per product. This is related products and prices for quantity intervals.
Is it possible to use grouping so that I could have these show as 1 row per product
and then be able to expand the information
Any solution will do – it could be like this:
