I usually develop WPF in XP. I have an application that is trying to access a web source in a thread that is not available.
I know the source is not there and thats OK. HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() is in a TRY block and the exception is being caught
then I execute a System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(1500); and try again. Under XP it all works properly under windows 7 DISASTER.
My app stops responding. Gets cloudy..
FUMES are shooting out that the same app acts completely different.
I am wondering if its because I HAD to compile X86 and because there are NO ACCESS drivers? Also I only have 2010 loaded on the machine.
Maybe there is massive conflict there. BUT utter lock up is NO help at all. Grasping at straws looking for ideas.
