Page cannot be displayed when I am trying to View in browser with visual studio team system 2008

I have been working on this project for weeks.  Every thing was fine.  But all of sudden today, I got this error: Page cannot be displayed when I was trying to debug as usual.

I searched online for solution.  Only one solution was found at http://hubpages.com/hub/ASPNET-DEVELOPMENT-SERVER--WEB-PAGE-CANNOT-BE-DISPLAYED.  But when I followed its steps, I found in my hosts file, it is already like this: 127.0.0.1       localhost

I cannot continue to work without testing finished form pages.

Could somebody please help?

Thanks!

Problem installing SQL 2008 Tools with Visual Studio 2008 Team System Suite

I'm setting-up my development environment on a new laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I installed Visual Studio Team System (MSDN disk 4405)  and then VS 2008 SP1. These installed without error.

Next I installed SQL Express 2008, but had a problem with running the standard install from www.microsoft.com/express/sql/download - message stating that SQL 2008 with Tools was incompatable with SQL 2005 (which was installed as part of the VSTS 2008 install - instance SQLEXPRESS). Therefore, I used the custom install link on this webpage to install SQL Express 2008 with SP1 - X64. I selected the 'New Standalone Instal or Add Features' and it completed without error - instance MSSQLSERVER2008. I selected the install with SP1 because this seemed to be required for a PC with VS 2008 installed (see other threads), hoping that it would be possible to install the tools later. However, when I came to install the SQL Express 2008 Tools (custom install page install SQL Express 2008 with Tools) I hit the following problems:

1. I got message stating that there was a compatability issue which required me to run SQL 2008 SP1 after the install - funny, I had just installed SQL 2008 SP1!

Ignoring the message, I proceeded with the install sel

Can Not load WPF project in Visual Studio 2005 on Win7 64 system, says "Project file not supported b

Dear all I am facing an issue in creating new wpf project or loading a WPF project in Visual studio 2005. I have installed Visual Studio 2005 Service pack - 1 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=bb4a75ab-e2d4-4c96-b39d-37baf6b5b1dc&displaylang=en) but still I can not see the option for wpf project  while creating a new project. Generally we can see WPF listing under item File -->New-->Project--> ".Net Framework 3.0" in VS 2005. I have few WPF project and when i try to load them it says "Project file not supported by this Installation". My System Config is given below: OS: Windows 7 (64 Bit) VS: Visual Studio 2005 with Service Pack 1 .Net Framework: 3.5 (By default inbuilt in Win7 OS)   I am suspecting something bugging related to .Net framework 3.0 in Win7. We have one option in control panel to alter .NetFramework 3.5 under "Turn Windows Features on or Off" but there I can not see something related to 3.0 :-(.   Kindly suggest how can I load my existing project and how can enable option to create new wpf Projects.   I saw few solutions suggested by people on following Thread bt most of them related to Windows XP or Vista: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vswpfdesigner/thread/06cf7bca-982c-44cf-aec9-99cf399b3000 Do someone has solution for Windows 7 (64 bit OS)
