I am having an interesting problem with browser based InfoPath forms in SharePoint 2007. For some reason the file attachment control is not working any more. It was working fine in July, but now it will not allow file attachments over a few kb.
I tried a 34KB file and I get the error below, a 2KB file works fine.
Unable to connect to SQL Server session database. The connection string (server='SPDB', database='SharedServices1_DB') was returned by an instance of the IPartitionResolver type 'Microsoft.Office.Server.Administration.SqlSessionStateResolver,
Microsoft.Office.Server, Version=184.108.40.206, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c'. at System.Web.SessionState.SqlSessionStateStore.ThrowSqlConnectionException(SqlConnection conn, Exception e)
at System.Web.SessionState.SqlSessionStateStore.HandleInsertException(SqlConnection conn, Exception e, Boolean newItem, String id)
at System.Web.SessionState.SqlSessionStateStore.SetAndReleaseItemExclusive(HttpContext context, String id, SessionStateStoreData item, Object lockId, Boolean newItem)
at System.Web.SessionState.SessionStateModule.OnReleaseState(Object source, EventArgs eventArgs)
Is there any workaround involed in the infopath form when it has file upload control in it.
This is called in the xmlformview webpart of an aspx page. While submitting the form the file upload diesn't happen.
And I'm using Infopath 2007 and MOSS 2007.
Any solution for this ?
Thanks in advance
I've created a picture library and added a number of our organisations logos to it in jpeg format. Unfortunately end users and I are unable to open the jpegs. I can see the thumbnail image and the preview image but when I click for the full image I get the
nasty red 'X'.
I've checked the Permissions which all look fine and the file names have no nasty characters or spaces.
One quirk though - I've added a jpeg picture taken of my colleagues and I am able to see the thumbnail, preview and open the full image!!? For some reason the browser does not like the logos. I'm using IE7.
Any idea why this is happening and how it can be fixed?
how can i submit an infopath form to a SP library as well to the approvers email.
the email has to send to the manager's emailaddress that is automatically filled in the form.
i now how to submit to an email address but how can i use 1 submit button for both actions?
How can I display the ID of an InfoPath form after I have submitted it to my doc library in SharePoint. In other words I want to display the ID the next time I open the form (ie after the first save) as well as in the doc library in a view.
Want to know how to Get or Set the Version for the new/existing InfoPath Form 2007 in the SharePoint Form Library. Actually I am submitting InfoPath Form to SharePoint Form Libraries on the fly. Want to set the Version of new form to 1.0 and
then increment by 0.1 every time when the user edits and save the form back to the form library. When the existing form is opened for editing, I need to get the current latest version of that form in the form library.
It is very urgent. Any help or pointers for this requirement would be appreciated. If anyone of you have handled such scenario in your projects, please share the code snippet with me.
Thanks for your help in advance.
It would be great if anyone of you answer my question.I have an info path form built in 2007 and published it to share point as a document library. My requirement is i should not
allow two instance of the same Form to be opened at the same Time.I mean if you open a form from Share point and If you try to open the next one without closing the previous Form,it should give an alert to user saying that the "Form is already Opened".
I tried like having a Boolean variable which is by default false. If i try to open for the 1st time it should make it as true and for the next time if we refer to that variable and make an alert. But it dint work. Please let me know by anyway i can do this
task.Your help will be greatly appreciated!!!!
I have designed an upload form with the columns that have to be filled in while uploading a document into the document library. The form is designed in .net.
I get "Error Access Denied" message when i try to upload the document using that upload form. When i go back to site, the document is uploaded in that particular document library. But this problem doesnot exist when i upload the document as admin. There is no
" Error Access Denied" message.I have checked the document library permissions. The problem is not with the permission to that particular document library.
Can someone help me out in this issue?
