Dynamic Systems Development Model (DSDM) Methodology

The Dynamic Systems Development Model was developed in the U.K. in the mid-1990s. It is the evolution of rapid application development (RAD) practices. DSDM boasts the best-supported training and documentation of any of the agile software development techniques, at least in Europe. DSDM favors the philosophy that nothing is built perfectly the first time and looks to software development as an exploratory endeavor.

Waterfall (a.k.a. Traditional) Methodology

The waterfall model is a popular version of the systems development life cycle model for software engineering. Often considered the classic approach to the systems development life cycle, the waterfall model describes a development method that is rigid and linear. Waterfall development has distinct goals for each phase of development where each phase is completed for the next one is started and there is no turning back.

1.How do i decide if i need to look at reports and then create a DW schema or should i create a dw schema with all the fields possible and then create reports off it? Please Provide Insight.

2. I have tight deadlines. In such a case can i simply create a view on SSAS and source it to the reports by creating cubes. In such a case, do the cubes need to be created every night?? Please help.

3. can these cubes be reported from any tool such as crystal reports or does it have to be SSRS?

Thanks Guys.

Source Revision Tool + Methodology for Single Page Application

My team is developing an ajax based "one page application" using several 3rd party controls. C# at the server side.

What is the recommanded tool (visual source safe? tortoise svn? tortoise hg? etc).

What is the methodology for team work with the tool (team leader responsible for check in's/ commit's and merges? developers are responsible for their user controls check in's? etc).

I'll greatly appreciate answer by someone with experience in such development.
