What is the expected behavior when a LIKE condition specifies a single percentage sign? For example, if I have a Customer table with a CustomerName field and I write the following SQL Query:
SELECT * FROM Customer WHERE CustomerName LIKE '%'
- Does the single percentage sign negate the LIKE condition?
- Would this specific statement be equal to just SELECT * FROM Customer?
- Finally, does this work with all data types, or just char/nchar/varchar/nvarchar?
