Can you modify fonts on sparkline tooltips?

Posted By: Posted Date: September 20, 2010 Points: 0 Category :Sql Server

I would like to change the color and fonts on tooltips for the sparklines on an SSRS report. I'd also like to be able to change the color of the border around the tooltip box. I've searched for solutions to this and have come up empty so far. Any ideas on how this might be accomplished?

How to modify the login control

I'd like to record more information than the default control allows as well as perform actions with the input when the form is submitted but I'm having trouble figuring out how.

So firstly, if I want to record the middlename for example, how would I do that, and by default, where would it go if anywhere?
When the form is submitted, I'd like to take specific input, such as just the middlename for example, and write some linq to sql code to specify when and how it's stored.
In what event would I put this code?

Modify Menu adapter to show selected

Hey, I need some help modifying the menu adapter code to give child
elements a class value indicating that the parent is selected. It should render like this:

< ul class="AspNet-Menu">
	< li class="AspNet-Menu-WithChildren AspNet-Menu-ChildSelected">
		< a href="/rockit/admin/Default.aspx" class="AspNet-Menu-Link AspNet-Menu-ChildSelected">
		< span>Mypage< /span>< /a>
			< ul class="AspNet-Sub AspNet-Sub-Selected">
				< li class="AspNet-Menu-Leaf AspNet-Menu-Selected">
					< a href="/rockit/admin/Default2.aspx" class="AspNet-Menu-Link AspNet-Menu-Selected">
					< span>Test< /span>< /a>
				< /li>
				< li class="AspNet-Menu-Leaf">
					< a href="/rockit/Default3.aspx" class="AspN

{ End Bracket }: It's Not Just Fonts

Creating a typeface that's truly readable on a screen is much more complex than people realize. The average core font in Windows®, for instance, has about 25,000 lines of executable code as well as the outline and other data.

ASP.NET: Intercept, Monitor, and Modify Web Requests with HTTP Filters in ISAPI and ASP.NET

There can be many reasons to reroute incoming Web requests. For instance, sometimes it's necessary to redirect a browser to a page based on user criteria without passing long lists of parameters in the URL. In the past, the only way to intercept such page requests and send them elsewhere was with ISAPI. Now, in ASP.NET, the IHttpModule interface provides notification of server requests, and lets you easily reroute them based on criteria other than browser type or version. Here the author demonstrates the use of IHttpModule for interception and explains the use of ISAPI filters for anyone who isn't yet using ASP.NET.

Modify Javascript via .Net?

I have an ASP.NET page which has some Javascript in it.

Is there a way in the Code Behind to modify the Javascript?

Say for example I have an Array in my Code Behind with 10 values (24, 17, 36, 47.....)

How would I make the Javascript become ....

cannot currently modify this text in the editor. It is read only error

Hi, perhaps i have found a bug in Visual Studio 2008 Team Edition.Every thing was going well.

I started to build my project, but for certain reasons i went to Built Tab and while the project wes in build process i clicked Cancel Button.

Alas!! after that my class file has gone to non-editable mode.It is giving this error:

"cannot currently modify this text in the editor. It is read only ".I closed and again opened Project but no improvement.I went to Tool->Import Export Setting->reset all settings but no benefit.

How to resolve this problem ?

Is it possible to modify the defualt My Site url?

Currently, when users select the My Site link, they are directed to "http://mysite.domain.com/personal/domain_username/default.aspx"

I would like to direct them to this instead "http://mysite.domain.com/personal/domain_username/home/default.aspx"

Assuming this is possible to implement, but I don't know how. Thank you for your help.

Modify User in Collect Data from User Workflow

I've created a workflow with a Collect Data from User action that emails a Group when the task is created. Once the task is claimed by an individual, the Assigned To column in the task list is updated to display that person's name but once the task is completed the email variable for the action is not updated and the group is emailed instead of the person listed as Assigned To.

So the question is this: Is there a way to update the user varialbe in the workflow task once the task is completed, or would I need to build my own workflow and use the Send Email action?

Modify 'SearchTable' area in BDC XSLT

Quite simply - no matter what changes I make to the XSL in the 'SearchTable' area of the BDC web part, nothing is affected on the page. I can put anything I want outside of this section - but in this section all my tweaks are just ignored! For instance, I want to hide some of the search criteria boxes (as there is only one search column in my data) and also hide the 'is equal to' box as there is only one option. I want a small title saying 'Search...' and the search box and that's it, but instead I get the same stuff rendered no matter the XSL.

Is there any reason I can't modify this? My XSL changes are not being overwritten - they are just being ignored - if I edit the XSL after I've saved it still contains my changes...

I'm about to rip my hair out over this SharePoint thing - it's great when it works, but you can literally spend a lifetime trying to get it working...

allow client to modify text on web page

I have been trying to find out how I can allow a user to modify/update a page/pages on a web site. I understand there has to be site security with authentication and authorisation but what is there as a user interface for them easily to update a page?

Thanks for any pointers.

How do I modify the link of a Hyperlink column ?

OK , I'm a bit new to this game. I'm trying to build a web page that simply scans a directory in the server and creates a web page with links to the files in that directory - sounds simple and should be easy to do !

So I have a bit of code that reads the myDocuments folder in my web site and then populates a grid view hyperlink column with the filenames in the folder - wow it works !

The only thing I am struggling with now is getting the hyperlink correct within the GridView so that the user goes to the actual document.

So my code behind is;

Dim dirInfo As New System.IO.DirectoryInfo(Server.MapPath("~/MyDocuments"))
       articleList.DataSource = dirInfo.GetFiles()

which reads the file info in the directory myDocuments and binds the info to a datasource.

So now I'm using that datasource to display the filenames in a gridview so that the user can click on a name and open the file.

Tooltips for rectangles - there must be a standard way of doing this

I am implementing a graphic display that shows a bar with lighting changes over time. Lights turn on and off according to a schedule. I already have code to show a series of different colored adjacent rectangles, with the color indicating the light level. This is all drawn on a Graphics object, using FillRect. I would like to have a ToolTip for each rectangle, showing the lighting value (in Lux). There seems to be no way to assign a ToolTip to a FillRect area, so I assume that I will have to dynamically create either Panel or PictureBox objects that show the colors. Of course these will have to be Disposed when the window is redrawn. In some cases, I need to show a Hatch pattern (with HatchStyle) so it will not always be a solid color. Is there a simple and straightforward way to do this? Is there another component that I am overlooking. I'm using VS2008 and C#, .NET 2.0. Thanks in advance, Michael Bate
