French Canadian Language Pack.for SharePoint Server 2010

Is there any specific French language pack for French Canada (fr-CA) flavour for SharePoint Server 2010?

Thanks in advance.

Installing Sharepoint 2010 Language Packs on Windows 7

I wanted to install language packs on top of Sharepoint 2010 already installed on my Windows 7 laptop but couldnt do so. Looks like its not supported. I checked some forums/blogs and some suggested to extract the language packs and add the AllowWindowsClientInstall line in the config xml but that also didnt work. I checked technet download links and it clearly says that the language packs applies to only Windows Server 2008 (Win2K8) or Win2K8 R2.

Any workarounds or separate download links from microsoft on this?

How to upgrade from Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 to SharePoint Foundation 2010 after mistanely de

I need a detailed instruction on how to upgrade From Upgrading from Windows SharePoint Services 2.0  (SBS 2003 ) to SharePoint Foundation 2010.

Background of the case:

I have all my databases (STS-database and STS_Config) saved but, I forgot to save my Virtual Site )Companyweb site) and I mistakenly re-installed IIS on the SBS 2003, hence  I lost the companyweb site. Is this an issue to migrate to Sharepoint foundation 2010. The Sharepoint foundation 2010 is running on a Microsoft HyperV Server 2008 R2
Also, I have created a Virtual 2003 SRV ENT with Sharepoint Services 3.0 running on it. I also have attached my Databases STS_Database and STS_Config)... how do I get it working like a regular website. I have modified the CNAME record to reflect the new server... http://companyweb - it take me to the new site but it loads a blank page. I did create a new CompanyWeb Virtual site on the VHD 2003 server.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your prompt response. Nelson

Cant uninstall Framework Language Pack on Windows 7 Professional

Hi,I have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed on a Windows 7 Professional that has been upgraded from a Windows Vista business. I have a Danish Language Pack installed (Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Language Pack SP1 - Danish). This was installed under Vista. Now I have upgraded to Windows 7 Professional where that language pack is unsupported apparantly. I'm trying to get help in a Windows 7 forum to change the OS language but it seems to fail because multiple MUI's is unsupported in Windows 7 Professional. So I hope someone here can help me remove the Language Pack or something like that...When I try to uninstall or reinstall the Language Pack I get an error saying that the OS isn't supported. What I want is to have my exceptions in English - not Danish. I cannot remove the Framework Language Pack using "Windows Installer Clean Up" because it isn't listed. How can I remove this language pack? Or alternatively instruct the Framework to give me Exceptions in the "en-US" localization?--

Cannot install Sharepoint Server 2010 "A previous installation has been detected with a license type

I'm trying to upgrade to Team Foundation Server 2010 and Project Server 2010. After getting TFS 2010 and Project Server 2007 to work with WSS 3.0, I started upgrade to Project Server 2010 which requires update to Sharepoint Server 2010 Enterprise. I installed pre-requisites and run "stsadm -o preupgradecheck" which passed everything. When I tried to run the installation I get Setup Warning "A previous installation has been detected with a license type that does not match the install in progress". I thought that my trial licence for Project Server 2007 stopped this so I completely uninstalled WSS 3.0 and restarted the server but the installation still stops with Upgrade window. Any ideas? Windows 7 Sharepoint 2010 Foundation

Hello again, we installed Sharepoint 2010 Foundation on a Windows 7 Professional OS 8GB 4Core machine and when we try to use a trial Version of Visual Studio 2010 we are getting "A 32 bit version of version of Windows Sharepoint Services is required by this project but is not installed on this system. Please install Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0, please download from MS or as part of MS Sharepoint Server 2007" I'm wondering if anyone might know if there is a key step we forgot to do or if this might be a Visual Studio 2010 setting per chance? Thanks very much again BobK

SharePoint 2010 Cumulative Update - Install sequence - Foundation required or not?

For a SharePoint 2010 Server (not Foundation) environment, is it necessary to install the Foundation Cumulative Update as well as the Server Cumulative Update?  (In the same way that with 2007, you install the WSS update and then the MOSS update) The nearest I have found to an answer is here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sharepoint/ff800847.aspx where it says 'We recommend that you always install SharePoint Foundation 2010 patches before installing SharePoint Server 2010 patches. This best practice ensures that you will always be successful when installing updates.'   In this regard, should 2010 Foundation be thought of as a pre-req, or underlying component, for 2010 Server?   The same question applies to the use of the Updates folder in the install media - for a Server install, should we be extracting both the Foundation and Server Cumulative Updates there, for a correct slipstreamed install?   Thanks.   Rob

Can you install SharePoint 2010 and User PerformancePoint in a single server enviroment?

Hi I Installed SharePoint 2010 in a single server farm and I configured a Performance Point service aplication. Whenever I run dashboard designer it seems to work but it eventually crashes. I don´t know if I have any configuration errors. I read this Run the Secure Store Service on a separate application server that is not used for any other service. Create the secure store database on a separate application server running SQL Server. Do not use the same SQL Server installation that contains content databases. Here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee806889.aspx I believe this service is necesary to run connect to data sources does this mean it all cannot be run in the same server.

Cannot install Sharepoint 2010 from powershell

I have been given the task of installing Sharepoint 2010 onto a Windows Server 2008 fresh OS. I am attempting to do this using Powershell as we will likely have to rebuild this machine later so i want the rebuild to be as quick as possible. I have setup the SPModules in powershell and add the path to to the PSModule variable. When i run the following command: PS C:\Windows\system32> Install-SharePoint -SetupExePath "location of software\setup.exe" -ConfigXML "location of software\Files\SetupFarm\config.xml" -PIDKey "my key" i get the error: Property 'Value' cannot be found on this object; make sure it exists and is settable. At D:\SPModule\spmodule.setup\Install-SharePoint.ps1:373 char:52 +             $CurrentConfigXml.Configuration.PIDKEY. <<<< Value = $PIDKey     + CategoryInfo          : InvalidOperation: (Value:String) [], ParentContainsErrorRecordException     + FullyQualifiedErrorId : PropertyNotFound even though the key is an argument. I then added the key to a copy of the config file and ran following: PS C:\Windows\system32> Install-SharePoint -SetupExePath "location of software\setup.exe" -ConfigXML "location of software\Files\SetupFarm\configpidkey.xml"
