Exporting a PerformancePoint Excel Services Report to Excel

Posted By:      Posted Date: September 20, 2010    Points: 0   Category :SharePoint

Have an Excel services PivotTable in a PPS 2010 dashboard.  When the user selects the "Export to Excel" option they receive this error.

I do not see any options in the webpart to show the old toolbar that used to show up in the Excel Services views.  (It had an option to open the pivottable in Excel or export a "snapshot" to Excel)

How do users export Excel Services reports to Excel?

Error

The selected view does not support an export to the selected format.

PerformancePoint Dashboard using Excel Services - How to export or print?

I have a PPS dashboard in 2010 that has an Excel services report with a nice graph and grid.  I do not see an "export to Excel" toolbar or a print function.  In the old 2007 Sharepoint, the Excel services report had a menu which allowed the user to export to excel (copy / paste) or OPEN in Excel.  (actually open the pivot table) How do I expose that menu bar in 2010?  Thanks.

Convert from Number to Text- Exporting to Excel from SQL Reporting services 2000

I was trying to export a report which contains a number format. When I do that, all the numbers in excel will have a green small tag beside it saying "Convert from Number to Text". Is there anyway that I can change the format to a number when I export it to excel?

Can a PPS Excel Services Report link to two pivottables?

With 2007, an Excel sheet could have two pivottables, and it was possible to link a PPS filter to both of those pivottables.

With 2010 it appears that you can only link a PPS filter to ONE pivottable.  Can someone confirm this?

Issue when report exporting to excel

Hi,

I am having a report (using SSRS 2008). when I view in the Preview tab its renders great but when I am exporting to excel i have this problem, the row height for rows with multiple lines, does not expand . So the user has to manually increase the height of rows in excel.

This is one of the subreport in Master report as an individual report there are no issues when exporting to excel ( The cell height in excel increases dynamcially based on text) however the same report i'm using in Master report as a subreport the cell height doesn't increase and also i can see the only first line message, so i have to change cell height manually.

I really appreciate if some one has any work around to this issue.

Thanks!
