I have a folder /App_themes/www.site.be/images/ under which all the images are for that theme. (In this case , I would make a guess of 50 to 150.000 images in 7 lvl-deep url-structure. Browing the images on the disc is not problem with the deep map-structure)
The issue I have if I upload something new to the FTP and the site has to be rebuild, the /App_themes/www.site.be/images/ does get rebuild (or browsed or whatever it is checked for) when rebuilding, which makes the rebuild take like 20 min (And CPU goes to 100% - prolly when searching all the imagefolders)
We've removed all the images from the /App_themes/www.site.be/images/ to check if we still had this issue, and when they were removed, we didn't have any problem with extended builds, so we know the issue is of the high amount of images in that folder, which apparently gets browsed for building the website.
This brings me to the point if there is a possibilty for me to define in the web.config that '/App_themes/www.site.be/images/' may not be used in the build.
There are possibilities of putting images on another domain, or under /images folder under the root, however if possible I'd like to keep using the /App_themes/www.site.be/images folder, which for various reasons is of good use for the structure.
Thanks in advance if anyone has a
