I'm new to workflow and am working through a book example and can't seem to understand an error. The goal of the example is to use a workflow in one form and then persist it and pick it up on another form.
In the below code, when the call to the event is made, I get an in memory workflow state exception. The WF has been unloaded or removed etc.
I'm not sure of the issue, it appears the wf is going idle and being persisted before the event is even rasied but I am not sure how to get it to persist at the correct time. When I get the error, I can see it in my instancestate table, but I'm not
sure what the fix is. I have played with the loadinterval and ownership durations when setting up the WF service to no avail. If i set persist on idle to false then of course it works as it stays in memory and doesnt get presisted, but I want to pick
the workflow up on another form so then that of course doesnt work since its not persisted. A standard google on the error didnt come up with much. The sugested links when posting this question also didnt seem to have anything relevant.
I'm hoping this is just a common issue and as a newbie i'm not seeing it. below is the code where I start the workflow and raise the event. I can post the set up of the persistence service if needed as well.
// Create and start a workflow instance
