Inserted a custom list with a calendar view on a page as webpart. Browse month function does not work, there is a postback but month is still the current month instead of the next or previous.
Is this a know issue/bug?

I'm trying to setup a Calendar view for a list in SharePoint 2010. Everything is working the way I want, except there are no icons to change the view from Month, Week, or Day. Right now, if someone clicks on a date on the calendar, it switches to the Day
view. But there is no way for them to go back to the month view.
I open the page in SharePoint Designer, and in the Design view I can see three icons on the Calendar (Month, Week, Day). But at no time do these icons show up anywhere except the design view.
I want it to have the arrow buttons, the month and year (which are already displaying) and then the icons to change the view. How do I get them to appear?

I'am trying to use Dynamic data web site on my project. I have Visual Studio 2010 enf Framework 4.0. I create the default project with the wizard. I add my own Entity Data Model.
When I try to use the "delete" autogenerated button on List.aspx, on the table ServerSetting (see image below), I receive a null exception. I have no custom code involved in this operation and cannot seem
to determine what is Null.
Any help would be appreciated!
[NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.] System.Data.Objects.Internal.ForeignKeyFactory.CreateConceptualNullKey(EntityKey originalKey) +30 System.Data.Objects.DataClasses.EntityReference.NullAllForeignKeys() +722 System.Data.Objects.EntityEntry.NullAllForeignKeys() +235 System.Data.Objects.EntityEntry.Delete(Boolean doFixup) +77 System.Data.Objects.EntityEntry.Delete() +9 System.Data.Objects.ObjectContext.DeleteObject(Object entity, EntitySet expectedEntitySet) +169 System.Data.Objects.ObjectContext.DeleteObject
This problem just started happening in my entire site collection. Anytime I associate a workflow to any list or doc lib the Workflow column that shows the status and links to the history is not beind added to the list or any views and is nowhere to
be found. Here's exactly what I'm doing:
1. Go the List settings -> workflow settings -> add a workflow (for this example the OOB approval workflow)
2. After adding I go to the List, the workflow column doesn't exist.
3. I go to "modify view", and the workflow column is not listed in the available columns.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
We have a list with versioning enabled. When an item is edited a new version is created for the particular item.
Is it possible to create a view to list only a particular version of items and data in that version?
Suddenly sharepoint designer decided today that it doesn't want to insert a custom list form anymore...
To be more specific, it doesn't work anymore in a site that uses the Microsoft budgeting and tracking template. In a website that uses an out of the box template, it still works.
It did work before, because I did it in other websites using the same template (it's broken there as well now).
Why oh why does SharePoint refuse to do this now?
I searched google and here on the forums, but all I could find was some issues after installing SP1, but we did that already long time ago and it was still working after that. I checked with our infrastructure guys and they didn't install new updates they
I also tried the solutions listed here:
But they don't fix the problem.
So my problem is, I can go to Insert > SharePoint Controls > Custom List Form
I pick my list, content type and form type, I hit OK and... nothing happens.
Actually, I set access to some of the WebParts to desired group of SP users. (Web Part edition->Advance->last option on the bottom)
Is there any way to list this access? I'd like to have some kind of list with WebParts and users signed to its.
I have a datalist and there is a check box within this datalist in a .ascx page. But I have to have an image out side the datalist. So here is the code and its not owrking. When I click on the image, I dont see any alert box.
// set var checkboxSelect to zero
var checkboxSelect = 0;
var sProducts = "";
var multiCheck = window.document.forms["frmCompare"].CompareCheck.length;
if (multiCheck != null)
// Loop from zero to the one minus the number of checkbox button selections
for (counter = 0; counter < window.document.forms["frmCompare"].CompareCheck.length; counter++)
var seperator = (checkboxSelect > 0)?",":"";
sProducts += sep
I have a requirement to use the MOSS 2007 Calendar Control - month view is to apply a custom css to have a look and feel as per our requirements.
We tried applying the custom css to the MOSS 2007 calendar control - month view, it does take the custom css and applies it, but when i click on any date and come back to the calendar control, it changes the CSS of the MOSS calendar control back to the default
Let me know if anyone has any suggestion on how to customize the calendar control for css for our intranet application.
Your response would be highly appreciated.
