helloi want asp.net script to create new email account. i mean there should b registration form like gmail or yahoomail and my user can create their own account under my domain name.please help me.my client has extreme need this.thanks

Cannot create email alerts for multiple users

Hello, I created an email alert for a document in a library. In the "Send Alerts To" box, I added multiple user names separated by semicolons and saved the alert. However, when I open the alert again, only my user name appears and the additional user names are gone. Why is this happening and how do I fix this problem? Thank you in advance.

Hi All, I am using ax 09 sp1 with IND Localization standard(Base) package. when i tried to create an company from administrator/Company account it create the company.but when again i reopen the same form company account doesnt exist their.after that i checked in SQL server record is their but its not showing in AX(front End). i tired with different SQL server also but same issue persist. kindly suggest me the solution or cause behind this. Hi All, i have a package with 3 Execute sql tasks, 1 script task and 1 send email task. i have three tables a, b and c. 1st execute sql task counts the no of records from table a, puts the result in variable cnt and it has an expression @cnt > 0, 2nd execute sql task counts the no of records from b, puts result in cnt2 and it has an expression @cnt2 > 0. 3rd execute sql task selects the fields from table c. Table c has only two records and two columns, e.g column1-->TableName( a, b), column2-->(http://a, http://b) Now, i wanna write down script in script task such a way that when table a and b would have records send an email with column1(table name) in subject and column2(weblink) in message of the email and if table a has no records then only table name b in subject and weblink http://b in message and viceversa. NOTE : if i do this for one record from table c then it works but then i have to have same two tasks for two records and send two emails. but i am thinking to do this in only one task. Create user account for web authentication from non-web/local application

Hi, I have an application which is installed on local pc and is using SQL db. It is a client management system where I want to add capability to register new clients and give them access to my web site which is sharing the same SQL database with local application. At the moment clients can register on the web site and I have ASP.NET authorisation system set up with aspnetdb_user, aspnetdb_membership and etc tables. But sometimes it happens that I need to register clients on my local application on PC and ideally would like that registration to create online account for the client as well. Then I want to be able to send him user id and password by email and let him know that he has been registered in my database and online account is ready for him as well. Basically I want to have full synchronization between asp.net membership service and local application through SQL db. As I said both online and local apps are shareing the same SQL database. I would like to know if it is possible at all and what would be the best practice to implement it. Thank you.

How to create/trigger a server-only script

Background: I have a site that sends a good bit of emails, some one at a time, and some larger groups of admin emails. I'm running on a shared hosting service. The mailserver is horribly slow, so any script that sends a single email can take as much as 15 seconds to execute (and I can't seem to set Response.BufferOutput to false, so the whole page has to wait the entire duration). On the bulk emailings, it can take minutes for that to run.I want to create a "mail queue" of my own... I want any script that sends an email to, instead, write a row to a db table containing the necessary email info, which will let the script get on with its business quickly. Then, I want to create a script that runs on the server only, and have it check the table for emails, send them, and remove them from the table.I know I can have the "mailsender" script run as a scheduled task, and it would thereby run on the server only. But I would prefer to have the initial script somehow "trigger" the mailsender script.So, QUESTION: Is there a way in asp.net to create a script that will execute solely on the server, and call that script from another page, so that the calling page doesn't wait for the server script to execute?Thanks!

Sending Result Set as Email via Script task

Hello, I completely succeeded in creating a package that sends result set as Email. But the issue here is type of the connection I am using, right now using ADO.NET connection. But my lead wants to have OLDB connection in order to maintain uniformity across all packages. Requirement : querying a table having 3 fields, need to send this table content as an Email. Steps Following : Execute SQL task to store the Result set into a System.Object variable, here connection type using ADO.NET , but my lead wants it as OLDB. Script task: Using bellow code to load data from system.Object variable to a string variable Send mail Task : Using string variable ( which was populated in script task) as Message source in Send mail task . So everything working fine, getting proper email with bellow code in script task. But the issue is if I use OLDB connection type in Execute SQL task instead of ADO.NET Connection type, Script task is not working . Bellow script is throwing some error . not able to create a new web application with farm account

I installed sharepoint 2010 on windows 2008 R2 machine. I used the farm account to configure the farm as per the documentation. When i logged in to the central admin application using farm account, "New" button (to create a new web application) is disabled under "Manage Web applications". farm account is not added to the administrator group of sharepoint server.

The "New" buttons gets enabled if i run "Internet explorer" as administrator. Please advise what could be the solution to fix this.
