I'm I doing okay?

Posted By:      Posted Date: September 18, 2010    Points: 0   Category :ASP.Net
Hello guys! I'm currently in the learning stages of ASP.net (If that ever ends), beginning, and I see that as I follow the book: Beginning ASP.net 4 in C# and VB by Imar Spaanjaars  I seem to be using the Design View a lot and relying on the IDE to generate code. My friend says this is a pitfall to .Net developers as with other languages like PHP you have to know the code, the same with RoR and Djanjo... so I was wondering if this is normal, do you guys spend all of you time in the code view? Also after I have read this book, I will be reading... http://www.wrox.com/WileyCDA/WroxTitle/Professional-ASP-NET-4-in-C-and-VB.productCd-0470502207.html Where do you think this will take me up to , simple sites with backends for management and whatnot? Also as I'm felling down about ASP.net now I need to open my SmartTasks panel and auto end this post... Thanks a lot guys / Ryan
