RMO Error: The subscription to publication has expired or does not exist

Posted By:      Posted Date: September 18, 2010    Points: 0   Category :Sql Server
Hello,   I have seen several posts on this issue but none that seem to be answered or resolved. I note two posts on my browser that MS has identified as being similar to my problem. Again, none have been answered. (???? Microsoft ????)   I am having the error: "The subscription to the publication has expired or does not exist" - when I try to do a PullMerge subscription from the client. The subscription was created using RMO objects in a program. I am using stright Synchronization - not web. The resulting subscription is viewable in the SQL Server Management Studio and all the properties appear correct. No matter what, the subscription created through a program always fails with the above error.   IIf I create a subscription to the same publication using the SQL Server Management Studio, however, the PullMerge works. Both subscriptions look the same but both behave very differently. Obviously this is a security difference between the subscription made by the Mangement Studio and one made through a running application.   Can anyone shed some light on what these differences are? I read somewhere that the subscriptions and publications made through the Management Studio had a different security certificate than those through a program. What they were are not clear.   Most impotantly, how do I fix this problem?????     Code: ==============================     serverConn.C

Transactional Publication With Article Using DATE Datatype Causes Snapshot Agent to Fail with Error

So I am using SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition (64Bit) and have run into a strange problem that is baffling me. I have two tables that I need to replicate.  They are identical in specification except the name (one is for monthly stats and one daily stats) CREATE TABLE [dbo].[statsDailyLite]( [EntryDate] [date] NOT NULL, [SetID] [int] NOT NULL, [ProductID] [smallint] NOT NULL, [Hooks] [int] NOT NULL, [AdViews] [int] NOT NULL, [Clicks] [int] NOT NULL, [UAdViews] [int] NOT NULL, CONSTRAINT [PK_statsDailyLite] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ( [EntryDate] ASC, [SetID] ASC, [ProductID] ASC )WITH (PAD_INDEX = OFF, STATISTICS_NORECOMPUTE = OFF, IGNORE_DUP_KEY = OFF, ALLOW_ROW_LOCKS = ON, ALLOW_PAGE_LOCKS = ON, FILLFACTOR = 90) ) GO CREATE TABLE [dbo].[statsMonthlyLite]( [EntryMonth] [date] NOT NULL, [SetID] [int] NOT NULL, [ProductID] [smallint] NOT NULL, [Hooks] [int] NOT NULL, [AdViews] [int] NOT NULL, [Clicks] [int] NOT NULL, [UAdViews] [int] NOT NULL, CONSTRAINT [PK_statsMonthlyLite] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ( [EntryMonth] ASC, [SetID] ASC, [ProductID] ASC )WITH (PAD_INDEX = OFF, STATISTICS_NORECOMPUTE = OFF, IGNORE_DUP_KEY = OFF, ALLOW_ROW_LOCKS = ON, ALLOW_PAGE_LOCKS = ON, FILLFACTOR = 90) ) GO They both conatin a thousand or so test rows of data, and they are both in a transactional publication going to another SQL 2008 box. Now when the tables are empty

Hi Guys, The subject of this question is the error which I am receiving when running a scheduled job also this is an error which we get at a random intervals and the frequency would be once or twice in a month. I have been through several posts and didn't concluded anything out of it. At the time when we receive this error the memory usage of the database was normal with free resources available and also the network was stable without issues. Our Sql database is in cluster mode with named instance. Can anyone share some information on this, I know this is not the right forum with the error message I have posted but am sure some one might have face the same problem when running some ETL jobs. Source and target both are sql server and the error message is generated in the validation phase of the connection manager connecting to target database. SSIS 2005 SP2 64 bit environmentRaju

I created a Dynamics Ax report. In this report some axapta static functions are called. When I run the report in browser it shows data normal. I created for this report email subscription(Setted the execution account). In the email is attached the report in pdf format, but for textboxes where it has to show data with results from axapta functions it shows "#Error". Running the report from link attached in mail shows data normal(Without"#Error"). What can be the solution for this problem?   The error from Event viewer: "The complete data cache has been flushed to request from session 13".

Unable to load External list in Sharepoint Foundation - error due to trial period expired

I've created an external content type and external list on Sharepoint Foundation. Everything is OK when creating and viewing these items in create mode in sharepoint designer. When trying to view the external list in the browser I get error message "Unable to display this Web Part..." When I opened the same list in the mobile view url I get a more descriptive error message: "The shim execution failed unexpectedly - The trial period for this product has expired.." I have read and followed the instruction related to this thread concerning expired trial period bug, and iisreseted the server after change but I still can't display the list. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepoint2010setup/thread/644ab342-4eaa-468c-95c1-f345a4f65f26#644ab342-4eaa-468c-95c1-f345a4f65f26 Any ideas anyone??

Error - The evaluation period for this version of SharePoint Portal Server has Expired

I am using SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and in the app log I'm seeing this error "The evaluation period for this version of SharePoint Portal Server has Expired" which I believe is causing the search service to not work and I can no longer sign in to the SP central admin console. While I did not perform the install myself it has been running for over a year and according to MS the SP PS 2003 eval was only 120 days so I assume the full version was installed.  Any idea's? There are a couple more errors in the event log but I assume they are symptoms and not causes. Error: Attempted to use an object that has ceased to exist.

I'm getting the following error when trying to execute SPListItem.Update()

I've been able to update just fine previously and have no idea if I did something to break SharePoint :) And it happens on two different lists. I does not happen when adding and editing items using the SharePoint UI.

SSRS Subscription Error (rsInvalidDataSourceCredentialSetting)

I just started using SSRS using SQL Server 2005. I've created several reports and have deployed these reports so they are available to use in Report Manager. I started playing around with subscriptions hoping to automate and schedule printouts for my end-users. I am trying to subscribe to this one report and have filled in the necessary fields in the subscription page but after getting everything filled in, when I hit OK, I get the ff msg - "The current action cannot be completed because the user data source credentials that are required to execute this report are not stored in the report server database. (rsInvalidDataSourceCredentialSetting)". I've looked this up online and found a Microsoft Technet page on changing the setting of the data source I'm using and is as follows -

1.Go to the Data Sources properties page of the report that you want to automate.
2.For the Connect Using option, select Credentials stored securely in the report server.
3.In User Name and Password, type credentials that can be used to access the database. If you are using SQL Server as the data source, the user name must be valid for both logging on to the server and for accessing the database that contains the data for the report.
4.If the user name and password are credential

Full reported error

StdOut -2068578304: The following error occurred:
The Windows account doman\user does not exist and cannot be provisioned as a SQL system administrator
Error result: -2068578304
Result facility code: 1204
Result error code: 0

domain/user is a domain administrator and also a local administrator and is the currently logged in user.  This failure is happening as part of A Citrix XenApp 6.0 configuration which was started as an Administrator

A Google search for
"The Windows account" "does not exist and cannot be provisioned as a SQL system administrator"
Came up with absolutely nothing.

A Google search for -2068578304 failed to find anything, which did not surprise me.

-2068578304 translates into hex as 84B40000.

A Google search for 84B40000

Comes up with a fair few different textual descriptions with the same error code, which I am wading through.

Any help would be welcome.  I am also asking my friends at Citrix.

With thanks in advance.
